Maze Hostel is very well located to get to all sights and I was impressed about the great and clean kitchen. Byron is the best manager. Very friendly and always helpful in answering questions. Thanks so much I enjoyed the stay and had a good time.

The Maze is a very nice place to stay in Sydney, mostly backpackers and mostly very nice people to have a great time with. It was very clean, but the homekeeping crew came every morning between 10 and 11 o'clock to change sheets and to vacuum which was kind and of annoying when you were still sleeping. No Airconditioning made it even harder to sleep. On the other side they had Free dinner three days a week which was pretty delicious and many free drink vouchers for a couple bars. But the best thing about the Maze was their event manager Byron. He is such a funny, kind and caring guy. He made everyone feel welcome and comfortable and always helped when you had questions or problems. He planned nice events for the Hostel and was just cool. Easy 10/10 for Byron.

Hy guys! Acutually byron is one of the best pr i ve seen in the world... he s got so much passion in what he does! He make peole happy and he rapresent all the hostel! He got so much passion and evrybody get happy couze he got so much people enjoy all the party! I love him and i dont think ther s gonna be a maze hostel without byron! I do! He s the best and i will always come to that hostel until he will be there!

At the maze hostel they have nice free meals and great offers for going out. Byron is amazing. Theres a great community. People are very friendly. They should buy better bread for burgers and better hot dogs.

Long term guest at maze as it’s such a nice place with a great vibe to stay at! The staff are all lovely, Abbie, Henry, Melissa, Yasmin and Stan big shot out to you guys! Always happy to help with anything you need, and always have time for a chat whether it be morning noon or night. Tried many hostels in Sydney but Maze is an all time favourite! All the best you beauties 💕

I stayed at Maze at the beginning of December in an 8 bed dorm. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Maze gives off a really friendly vibe, everyone who works there is happy to answer questions (even silly ones) and have a chat with you. They do free food most days of the week, Tuesday was my favourite as it was burger day, Marion who cooked the burgers needs to become a chef because they were the best burgers in Sydney. The hostel itself is really well located with the station a short walk and close to a shopping centre with a supermarket. The building was built around 1907 so no lift but there is always someone around to help with heavy bags. I liked staying at Maze so much, I returned for another week at the start of January and I would stay here again if I'm ever back in Sydney.

Maze backpackers really central to city centre. Great friendly staff upon checkin and throughout my stay. Always very helpful. Byron the events manager is a gent always organising day trips and nites out. Never left any 1 out. Always getting ppl to mingle. Enjoyed my stay 😁

Stayed in this hostel in a 4 person's dorm and changed room one night to a 6 person's dorm. Both were very clean because of the daily housekeeping team. The hostel has a Super friendly community. I met loads of other amazing backpackers because the hostel has daily activities, free food and Byron!!

This hostel meets the minimum requirements you need in a hostel. The rooms are quite cramped and pokey, and did not seem the cleanest. I only stayed here for one night so can’t judge the overall vibe and atmosphere, but I guess it did the trick for a night but happy my time was limited.

I stayed for a week at Maze Backpackers and it was a great place to enjoy night life in Sydney ! Byron, the event manager will do everything he can to make you discover the places to party. I arrived there alone, and I left with friends. It's a really big hostel and Byron help me a lot to meet people, so thank you for that. Anyway, the location is perfect, and people at the reception are really nice. The only negative point I'd have would be the bathroom, not always really clean. Except that, it's a really good place to stay to discover Sydney, with all the activities they offer, and to have fun.
