Nice hotel

This was a nice hotel. Clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok. Typical continental breakfast. Fireplace on for breakfast only. Nice cozy place. I would stay again for sure.

Owned and managed by Smith College and Excellence is evident in every aspect of this GEM of a small Inn/Hotel!! Breakfast is superb and the lobby and dining area are open, spacious and welcoming! Every staff member I have interacted with from front desk, front office, housekeeping and breakfast team are friendly, full of suggestions and ready to accommodate me in any request I have had... I recommend The Ellery to all family and friends coming to the Northampton area for business or leisure travel!! Bravo!! Job Well Done, Ellery Team!!

Great stay. Lovely staff that were friendly and helpful. The room had everything you need and very comfortable beds. Fresh cookies at checkin. And the breakfast was way better than most hotels. Avocado toast and Greek yogurt. Not your typical gross American breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again!

This modest but updated and clean hotel is in the heart of the Smith College campus. Less than a mile from downtown. A bargain for the quality of the rooms. And the light breakfast is way better than what you get in the chain hotels.

Great location, comfy bed, and so very many thoughtful touches—from cookies in the lobby to pictures of famous Smith alums in the breakfast nook to scented hand soap in the room. I loved the breakfast (oatmeal with lots of toppings!) in the common space with a roaring fire. We look forward to returning!
