The place is run down, paint peeling etc, room and bathroom clean but worn out carpet floor doesn't smell fresh. Receptionist was extremely helpful. He gave me cooler and ice to keep my groceries overnight and he refused the tip.

This motel is very run down, much more than the pictures showed. The whole area around the motel looks also rundown with shut businesses and overgrown lots. I did not personally feel unsafe but if you are an anxious person you should definitely not stay here. My room smelled like a smoking room even though it should have been non-smoking, strongly enough that it stuck to my clothes. Half of the lights did not work. The bedspread had some cigarette burn holes. There was no wifi. The door was a regular old school key lock that took me 2-3 tries to shut properly every time. Some positives: It was quiet all night, no one bothered me, and the sheets and towels looked and smelled ok. The person at the desk was very nice and accommodated me when I had to call him to come to the desk to check out at 6am. I did not see any evidence of bedbugs (and believe me, I checked the mattress first thing).

There was no door knob or door handle to close the room from inside Or to open the door the from outside. The small brass key was the only piece that could be used as latch to close the door from inside. I have taken picture of the door with no handle or knob. Every thing was dirty inside the room. We felt very uncomfortable and unsafe to stay there. It was too late to go to another find another hotel. I would avoid this hotel.

Wife felt unsafe. Wanted to leave with as little conflict as possible. asked for a refund as listing on hotels.com was inaccurate. they refused. charging back, but ya'll should know. think twice

Had better stay this time around

Booked the 2 bed suite stayed with my son and wife I had a better stay this time around was comfortable and quiet theirs 2 things that could be done to make the room a little better would be to have a table and a chair in the room if u have food u have to eat it on the bed or if ur in college or have a kid with school work their is no table or chair to sit and write or eat with a lot of open space in the room a table and chair would make the rooms a lot better or desk like setup and the only other thing I didint care for was they accept pets but if u have a pet you have to book a smokeing room me being a non smoker and traveling with a kid even tho their is no smokeing in the room but smoke sticks to mattresses and walls residue etc its kinda inconvenient to have to have a smokeing room if u have a pet with u being I had a non smokeing room I couldn’t bring my pet with me I have stayed at 5 star hotels no smokeing rooms with my pet such as the Omni down town providence Hampton in quality inn I never lost or never not received my deposit back I always get it back most hotels that allow pets don’t have smokeing rooms I prefer non smokeing rooms because I am a non smoker and don’t want my kid sleeping or pet in a room that has previously Ben smoked in was just a small Inconvenience my pet never trashes rooms I travel with a small vacuum and a litter box and litter anytime I bring my pet with me but besides the table and maybe allowing pets in non smokeing rooms I enjoyed my stay

I booked a non-smoking room and was told when i arrived that they only had a smoking room. The website stated nothing about the $50 deposit that they charge upon arrival. The room was dirty and very run down. The bedding was stained. The registers and medicine cabinet in the barhroom were completely rusted. The toilet ran all night. The carpets were dirty and gross. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Definitely WAY OVER PRICED!!!!!

The staff was very helpful and they managed to solve every request immediately. Very close to Providence, so we can go and come back from Brown very easily

First off I thought, how quaint an actual key...but no. Then open the door to get hit with the terrible smell of the dingy room! Queen beds were reserved...uncomftable double beds were in the room. The toilet tipped when sat on...and the bathroom was the best part of the room. Unsafe due to door resembled a cheap interior door with a single twist lock. Definitely not reassuring or comforting. Then the final straw was the bugs we saw...NOPE! 24 hr. Front desk was a lie, the door was locked when we tried to complain. We stayed 2 nights of our reservation and they wouldn't refund the rest of the 6 nights when we checked out early! And kept our deposit and said that was his newest room and by his standards, clean?!

Definitely not a 7 out of 10!

The motel is rundown with the window glazing falling out of the windows & paint chips scattered about. The non-smoking room had clearly been smoked in & then covered up with toxic air freshener. Although the manager was very nice, all the available rooms were in similar condition. On the plus side, the hot water was hot & the bed linens clean.

Horrible experience

The property looked like it was in 1950s if it was a key door open the door the bag bed was sagging. There was a couch. It looked like I got out of the dumpster. A chair stunk to high heaven we closed the door went next-door to the Holiday Inn got a room there didn’t get any money back. Didn’t care. Wanted to get out of there.

Avoid

It was clear they would have preferred I not come at all, starting from the fact they called to “make sure” I was coming to giving me a smoking room when I requested a non smoking room. They claimed there was no room but the parking lot sure didn’t look that way. Paint was peeling from the shower ceiling. Just hope I didn’t bring home bed bugs.

Listing said rooms have queen beds. This is false advertising as room had full beds. Made it very difficult for 2 people to share a bed. Office was locked when we arrived and we had to wait for the guy after we called the number.
