The place is very outdated. I know properties around the area are more expensive but for the price Inwas expecting a bit more. it has the minimum essentials. Is close to the street which makes it noisy. There are very limited options of food to buy in the lobby and you need cash. When we arrived late, there was no person in the lobby, the door has a keypad in the event you need to enter but the door was open to anyone to go inside.

pleasant surprise

Because of a flight delay, we had to stay in San Juan for a night. Our room was nicer than the photos led us to expect, and we had only a short walk to a restaurant that all three of us enjoyed greatly. A very pleasant surprise!

Only good for a single night if you're taking a cruise or flight out the next day. It’s not a long-stay hotel by any means, and in hindsight, I would have looked elsewhere, mostly due to the awful noise from the street. My guess is that, at least in my room, there was no sound insulation whatsoever. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in cities where you couldn’t hear traffic noise, but this one was probably half the price of the others around it. That said, I was only staying for eight hours to catch a flight in the morning, so I didn’t expect much. The amenities are about as bare-bones as you can get, though they are oddly inconsistent. My room had a coffee pot, mini-fridge, and microwave, yet there wasn’t a single packet of complimentary coffee or bottled water. The shower worked fine with good hot water, but oddly, the sink had a push-timer faucet that only provided cold water. The AC couldn’t be controlled, which is crazy. My room was 62 degrees, and the blankets provided weren’t enough to keep warm at that temperature. The only option was to manually turn the AC on and off, which means you’ll be getting up throughout the night to switch it back on as the heat of Puerto Rico seeps into the room—again, likely due to the lack of insulation. As for the rooms themselves, they were okay. It seems like they, and possibly the hotel, were redone within the last decade. Parking isn’t great, as many have mentioned.
