Though the hotel is lovely and the staff is very nice, the fees that were added to our stay were enormous. $29 resort fees $27 parking fees even after having prepaid for the Room seems a bit excessive especially since this is not a hotel that is in downtown where parking Is at a premium.

My inlaws live nearby and recently downsized into a condominium, so we needed a place to stay when visiting for the holidays. We’ve visited the Inn before and had delicious meals at Avant. Room was clean and comfortable, the resort was festively decorated for the holidays and my husband and father in law enjoyed a round of golf. We look forward to another visit.
Walls must have been made out of paper. I could hear the heard of elephants above us. The a/c didn't cool the room down. The mini fridge had to be shut off so we could sleep. There were people partying in a room close by. Resort staff tried to quiet them but the didn't shut up. We almost packed and left at 2am. Resort discounted our stay. Staff was great though. I would not say this is s $300 a night resort.
My room had an ant problem...it was ground floor in one of the suite areas in a wooded area near the golf course. Other than that, it met expectations
The pools were not crowded, so my kids really enjoyed that. They offer tents in the room for kids and s'mores by the pool that you can make over the fire.
The resort is beautiful and really lived up to the photos we saw online. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. It was a bit of a drive to do anything close to downtown but for the price and amenities it was worth it. Our girls loved the family pool, little mini golf area, and wondering the grounds to see all of the fountains. The only thing I wanted was more casual dining in the evenings. They have a coffee shop and a pool side grill but both were usually closed by the time we got back to the resort at night. The nicer restaurants are beautiful and were open but with two young kids they were not the best options.
Great staycation. Only 20 minutes away but feels like you are on a true vacation.
I had really nice experience in this place. I chose to stay here to go Wild animal park with my family and it was really nice decision. The staff was kind and he was willing to offer nice room overlooking golf course, and the room was clean and the place was good to have a relax. I will definitely stay here again if I go animal park or other places near this hotel.
