Although I reserved a non smoking room the room reeked of smoke, the smoke alarm was removed from its place on the wall and sat next to the TV but did not function. The bathroom door was missing a knob, did not close and was marred with gouges, the white walls splattered with unknown filth, the ice maker and pool non functioning. Its advertised proximity to The Alamo was very inaccurate not within walking distance as advertised.

Ive stayed here a few times before. But this time the rooms were extremely dirty. Bugers smeared on the wall, old dried spit that ran down the walls. The faucets in the shower was very loose and there appeared to be black mold on the wall. I usually stayed there because its a short walk to The Alamo and to Market Square, but i really feel the owners could give it a touch up, and focus on good housekeeping.
