Clean. Bread & yogurt breakfast. Area not the best
Check in was quick as I got an email to precheck in. The room was clean. The bed covering was a little dated and had cigarette hole. The bathroom needs some updating as the ceiling tile holders were a bit rusted. The seal around where the shower head comes out of the wall was loose and hanging down. It is advertised they have breakfast but they really don't. We were not expecting bacon, sausage or eggs but the typical bagels, cream cheese, milk, cereal, fruits, yogurt juice, maybe even waffles. We called to see what food they offer and the hours. I was told bread, yogurt, tea and coffee. We thought there had to be more. The next morning we went to see. Sure enough there was yogurt and a few slices of bread. That was all.
The pool/hot tub area was also locked so we couldn't even use the hot tub.
Housekeeping did a great job. They even set my sons stuffed animals up against the pillows and laid out my wifes throw blanket nicely.
The area isn't the best, and it's not the worse. It shared a parking lot with another motel. There were always people with shopping carts sleeping in the other motels parking lot, the gas station across the street and the Walmart behind the hotel. The BBQ place next door had a police or security guard working by the front door. Some things to take into consideration.
Maintenance blew the leaves/trash from the parking lot everyday so they try to keep parking clean. While it was overall clean and comfortable, we would not stay at this location again.
