We had a wonderful stay @ this San Antonio Residence Inn. The staff was so nice to us and helpful. Matthew and Gemma were extremely helpful and nice. Matthew gave us excellent suggestions what to do while we were there. Gemma was so helpful w/our check out. They made us feel like they were so concerned w/our stay. In fact all the staff and personnel were wonderful. Our room was always clean so comfortable we felt like we were home. We also thought that it was so quiet did not hear others guest coming or going. I definitely will stay here on our next trip to San Antonio. Very convenient to the things we wanted to do.
Matt, Mateo, and Gemma are amazing Staff and such great assets to your company! They have gone above and beyond to make our stay one to remember, we will definitely will be back. The breakfast they have in the morning is wonderful. Always have fresh coffee when you walk in. The staff always has a welcoming smile when you walk in.
The staff at the Residence Inn Market Square is very friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean with convenient access to the river walk and other San Antonio attractions. Plenty of parking and continental breakfast. Good place to stay in San Antonio.
They have free food and happy hour 3 nights a week, and the food was pretty good. The breakfast choices are great and have variety, we were there for a month and didn't get bored. The staff were so welcoming and helpful- especially Jerry, Michelle, housekeeping, and the pool staff. The pool is beautiful, and they have towels available for you to use. The playground could use updating, as it's not built for toddlers (there's no way up on the equipment for little kids), but I never saw older kids playing on it. There were also tons of mosquitos near the playground. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed two nights in July and the service was excellent, rooms were in good shape. A/C is a bit noisy running constantly in July, but overall, quite happy with the stay, especially considering it's walking distance from a couple areas and parking is free. Would stay again.
We stayed at this location for three nights while in San Antonio for the DCI event. The hotel appears well kept and check in was easy with the Marriott app. We rented the two bedroom suite. The suite was very nice, lots of room. However, it appears that it is a one room suite with an additional mini room that has the adjacent locking double door. We found that the A/C had issues keeping the rooms cool during the July Texas heat. Breakfast was free and the usual offerings for this brand hotel. Staff was helpful with restaurant suggestions.
Five long-time friends recently spent Friday-Saturday nights at the hotel in a 2-br 2-ha suite w a sleeper sofa. We'd returned a second time-we we're there abt a year ago, too. Hotel is ok but noisy. Water pipes squealed periodically during the stay from our use and from other rooms, shower dripped and dripped, ice maker cried when making ice, lots of noise from the hallway and room above us. We don't recall it was this noisy last time. Housekeeping wanted into the room abt 9:30a Saturday, abt 10 minutes before we left. We returned abt2p after lunch to find the housekeeper still working in the room. She finished 15-20 minutes later. Ok, but next morning I found she'd not emptied the coffee pot of its coffee, or the coffee pack. In all, hotel not bad but I can't recommend it. Best thing is its location.
Always greeted with a smile and courteous service. I stay there at least once a month for work and would highly suggest it! Love the free breakfast bar and snacks and drinks Monday through Wednesdays. Great pool, gym, and basketball court.
It was great for my husband and me to share a two bedroom suite with our son, daughter in law and two grandsons. The kitchen allowed us to have snacksand drinks. The boys liked the pool and we enjoye the pool.
We enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn immensely. Easy walk to the Riverwalk and Market Square. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the fact of having a bathroom and living room. The free parking was great. The only issue was the hot water controls in the shower in 304, it would go to really hot or really cold without touching. Could be dangerous for a child.
