This was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. The description actually under-sells the place! It is literally a couple of steps from the coliseum, which you can see from the balcony. The rooms are spacious, all the appliances seem new and Riccardo the host was incredibly responsive. It is truly, truly a great place, a great location and a great experience. Highly recommended!!

It was my spouse and I but the apartment is plenty large enough for two couples. The neighborhood felt very safe and there are many restaurants within walking distance. Gorgeous view of the city from the balcony. An added bonus is that the Metro is just steps away. At check-in we received all the information we would want about restaurants and sites to see. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay in an amazing location

I thought the description may have been too good to be true, but this apartment is a few seconds’ walk to The Colosseum. It has amazing views of Ancient Rome & is a short walk to the best shops and restaurants of Rome’s Monti neighborhood. Our host was responsive and helped coordinate transport and tours during our visit.

Lovely property steps away from the Coliseum. Roman forum, and Palatine hill. Well-appointed, with everything that you need for a stay, seeing all that Rome has to offer. Amazing View

The location was better than expected. We were directly across from the Colosseum and had a beautiful view from the balcony of the surrounding area. We had a coffee and gelato shop right around the corner and good food within walking distance. Can’t forget about the fun Irish pub! Our host was full of information. Our family ranged in age from 13 to 86. The large bedroom can use a new mattress, but other than that, it was fairly well equipped.

Great locatiin, great appartment, great staff

Property as advertized. Immaculately clean. Beautifully decorated. Next to subway, views of colloseum and palatine hill from balcony. Elevator worked well. Close to good restaurants, grocery. Wonderful orientation to Rome at checkin given by Patrizea. Riccardo was a huge help with booking us a ride from the airport to the appartment. He also checked in with us to make sure all was good after we checked in. They did a wonderful job.The only minor issue was the appartment wide wifi was not working - but they did have a hot spot for the wifi which was serviceable. My sister left her credit card in the apartment and they called us as soon as they foind it - trying to catxh us before we left rome. Really went above and beyond at every step.Would rent again!

Amazing Apartment

To be clear - EVERYTHING about the apartment is exactly as reflected in the pictures. It’s very spacious and comfortable, the terrace offers amazing views of the Forum and Colosseum, the hallways of the building are very nice - and there is an elevator. The check in process was seamless, and we were even able to check in a little early. A 5 star, 10/10 stay, as far as the apartment was concerned.Just a heads-up on the neighborhood - it’s quaint and very safe - but be aware that the plaza area is the meeting place for walking tours, which can make it very busy during the peak times of the day. And - the crowds attract the grifters trying to separate you from your money. However, even though the pass is busy, the apartment is not noisy.

Amazing views, spacious and clean

Beautiful apartment with some terrific views from the terrace! This place is very spacious and was also very clean and felt very safe. Easy walk to metro station and tons of local night life and places to eat.We were not there much during the week, but do know that daytime during the weekdays currently with the construction of the local metro station expansion can be a little noisier. It wasn't a problem for us, however, as we were off seeing the sights nearly all day.We loved the uniqueness of this place, its history and location, and easily fixed ourselves breakfast in the nice kitchen every morning.

Amazing Colosseum Location

Beautifully appointed apartment with terrace. The view cannot be matched. Patrizia met us for check in and gave us an orientation of the apartment and a delightful Introduction to all of Rome! Her knowledge of the city is a treasure!

Incredible Location

This is a very nice property with an incredible view from the long front deck. To the front of the property is the Forum. To the left of the property is a partial view of the Colosseum and some of the adjacent grounds. There is some construction that is taking place to the left of the property for a subway extension. However, noise from that work was not a problem. Riccardo was an excellent contact and always responded immediately to any questions.

Easily the Best Apartment and Host in Rome - Incredible!!

First, I had very high expectations given the rental price for this apartment, and I can honestly say that Riccardo and this apartment far exceeded expectations - well worth it for our week in Rome!! Riccardo and Romanholidays were excellent hosts, very good communication before, during, and after our stay - instructions were very clear, and we were greeted by Patrizia upon our arrival (via private car which Riccardo arranged with ease). She showed us the procedures for the apartment, got us settled, and then kindly spent over an hour with us with recommendations and guides of Rome - basically she gave us a personal overview of the city from the perspective of a local. We've visited Rome several times, and even still it was very welcomed! Now to the apartment - simply incredible! A private view of the colloseum, Roman forum, and a unique view of the city skyline! 2 seperate veranda tables to enjoy meals outside while enjoying the view from the penthouse. The apartment was beautifully furnished, classic and modern Roman decorations, and huge with plenty of space to relax, entertain, and live like royalty! The location was also perfect, even though by the very busy colloseo tourist area, it was at a blocked street (via del Colosseo) next to the metro station and very safe. It is important to know that the metro entrance 1 minute walk from the apartment is closed due to the construction of the new C line, however the metro station is open and so a short walk down 1 level is easy

Fantastic Colosseum Penthouse

Fantastic penthouse right next to the Colosseum! The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property is perfect for a family or two couples. Property is incredibly beautiful and clean, making for the perfect stay in Rome! Additionally, the host was very helpful, arranging transports to/from the airport and train station in advance. Would recommend this stunning property to anyone - whether it is your first or 100th time visiting Rome!
