Absolutely fab experience. The staff are very accomodating and the room was larger and better than expected. The breakfast was excellent. The evening drinks were a lttle on the expensive side but served with unexpected food. Will stay here again next time inRo e. The location was just perfect a d in close proximity to many good restaurants.

Hotel is in a very good location, just a few minutes walk from most sites and close to a metro station. We had an excellent stay, all staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was freshly prepared, breakfast was varied and offered a good selection, plus there was complimentary coffee and cakes throughout the day until the afternoon. The room was of good size, the deco was traditional old Italian style and had all expected amenities. We didn't use much of the Wi-fi but the signal seemed good whenever it was required. Overall highly recommended, would certainly return! Many thanks to the management for the hospitality and the special treat!

We recently had a four night stay in Rome in this hotel and our stay here made an already memorable trip to Rome all the better. We arrived in the evening and to our surprise, and delight, we were upgraded to a balcony room twice the size of the one we'd paid for. Our room was lovely, quirky and comfortable - the bed was 'really' comfortable with fabulous pillows. The bathroom was a little tired, but again quirky, very clean and stocked well with Etro products. Our next surprise was breakfast the next morning in the rooftop lounge and terrace. Absolutely lovely - the staff couldn't have done more to ensure we had what we wanted - eggs any way, bacon, pastries, continental selections, lovely coffee - we could have sat up there all day if there wasn't so much sight seeing to do. The surprises kept on coming, a small complimentary bottle of fizz was left chilling in our room every evening, with crisps and nuts, and if that wasn't enough then snacks and aperitivo were served nearly all afternoon and evening in the rooftop lounge. I have to comment on the staff in the hotel. They were probably the best team I have encountered and I have been lucky enough to travel extensively at stay in some amazing world famous hotels. A small example, we asked for restaurant recommendations and Andrea in office gave us some fabulous advice, which resulted in us going to Dilla twice for dinner (gorgeous and 3 mins walk from the hotel). And we have to give a mention to Antonello, literally the host with the most. Every morning at breakfast he personally greeting everyone who came in, switching from language to language with ease and lovely warmth. A true gentleman and hotelier-extraordinaire. All in all, a lovely little hotel, a gem in the middle of Rome run by a top notch team. If you want home from home, comfort and an amazing team who trip over themselves to make your stay lovely, treat yourself to a few nights here.

We spent a marvellous long weekend in the Eternal City, our first visit there. We stayed at The Inn At The Spanish Steps right in the heart of the city, and we could not have been made to feel more welcome or valued. Friendly, warm, cheerful staff and management went out of their way to make our stay even more special than we had dreamed of. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and we certainly intend to return to not only the wonderful city of Rome but the fantastic Inn At The Spanish Steps. If we could give more than 5 stars we would...

Was here for 5 nights by myself and as a member of SLH was lucky to be upgraded to a junior suite in the main building on the fourth floor. the elevator goes to 3.5. half a flight up to my room and one more flight up to the sitting area/rooftop/breakfast I cannot comment on rooms in the other buildings. My room faced the street and had a tiny balcony that could stand on. The windows are thick and there is AC so was not noisy at night and I was not disturbed by people in the floor above my head. The bed was huge and the space was ok if not ample. and the bathroom was fine. Was great for one. a bit compact for two. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they will do omelettes and fresh juice but this is not advertised. The roof deck is gorgeous - lovely view of the spanish steps. The lady at check-in/concierge was excellent (do not recall her name). Very close to the Spagna metro stop so easy to get around. There are sandwiches and cakes available all day for free which was a nice touch and makes for a light lunch By reading other reviews I get the feeling a lot of people's views is dependent on which room and building they were in.

A great place to stay, centrally located within walking distance of all the main tourist hotspots. Staff were friendly and welcoming, we particularly liked the breakfast setup on the rooftop terrace. We will definitely go back

Thank you Antenello and the entire staff at The Inn at the Spanish Steps for a fabulous stay. You created a “home away from home” for me and my friends. The location is perfect, the rooms impeccable, but most important thing was all of you who made a vacation a time we will never forget. See you again soon. Victoria

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast! The room was spotless and they couldn't have been more accommodating or more helpful. They had a driver meet us at the airport - he was waiting when we landed. A perfect beginning to our Italian holiday!

Wonderful location and super friendly and accommodating staff. The Manager Antenello Passa went above and beyond when it came to making us feel right at home. The rooms are beautifully maintained and the view from the terrace of the Spanish Steps where breakfast and snacks were served was magnificent. Minutes walk to the Fountain of Trevi and shopping at major designers right outside your door. And within 20 minutes walk of most other major attractions in Rome. Beds were extremely comfortable!

We have been going to The Inn at The Spanish Steps for 14 years and it only seems to get better every year! We celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary while in Rome this year and management and staff could not possibly have done more to give us an unforgettable experience. The rooftop terrace is remarkable and a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast and a snack buffet in the evening. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Antonello and staff!
