The check in went quickly and the lady at the desk was very personable. We arrived earlier than expected but they were able to accommodate us. They honoured our request to be on the ground floor which was much appreciated. The pool area resurfacing is showing a bit of wear and tear but the hot tub was wonderful! Staff were conscientious with hotel cleaning and also chemicals in the pool and the two hot tubs. Thank you.

Great for a One-Night Stay We stayed one night and it was a solid experience. The room had a microwave and a mini fridge (no freezer). TV only had basic channels, but the bed was comfy, and I couldn’t hear other guests at all. Blinds did a good job blocking out the sun in the morning. There was a large space near the doorway, which made the room feel more open. The bathroom was nice overall—shower worked fine but the base was stained yellow. Toilet was on the smaller side but still decent. Breakfast had a good selection, i really liked the omelet. Staff was friendly and the elevator was quick—we never had to wait long. Parking was plentiful and easy to access. For a short overnight stay, this place checked all the boxes and was quiet, clean, and comfortable.

Disappointing stay

Overall, we were not impressed with our stay. The room was dated and smelled of stale smoke. As well the air conditioning cut out often and the toilet whined for a few minutes after it was flushed. We were on the first floor and it was fairly loud as it was beside the pool motor, and across from the commercial laundry room. Not to mention, the room above us was quite loud. We were playing cards in the lobby/breakfast area and were advised by the hotel security that the common area was off limits after 10pm so asked to leave. We are mid 50's to early 80s so not very disruptive, so found it quite ridiculous. On a positive note, the breakfast was very good and there was variety over our 3 day stay. As well, there were 2 hot tubs, a toddler pool and main pool with waterslide.

The age of building is showing. Kinda dirty bathroom. The pool floor was coming up(stones) and needs repairs. I did not like that the pool was used for swim lessons, and open at 9 am. But alright to catch some zzzzz’s While passing thru.

We travelled with a 6 year old and a fourteen year old. They love football so staying in the football themed room with 2 sleeping areas was wonderful. The staff were outstanding. Warm. friendly and very helpful.
