This hotel is just sad and needs someone to care for it. It starts in the lobby which is very unwelcoming itself but there is also a big garbage can and cart for the breakfast room. The front desk is dark and dated as are hallways. The room itself had been renovated but again it needs someone to care for it. There was a big hole in the blackout curtains and they were only hanging by a few hooks on the rod. The toilet seat was broken. Nowhere to sit other than the bed. The breakfast itself was very sad to the point where I wonder why they even bother. They would be better off givng you a $5 card to Tim Hortons next door. As well, the outside and the front entrance are not at all welcoming. This hotel needs to do better.

We had a bad night with people arguing outside our room and making noise at a variety of hours. The staff were very good and did their best, but the facilities have gone down considerably. We have stayed at this hotel for 30 years now and will not come back.

We were warmly greeted at reception...the process was quick, and the staff member was very cordial, and provided all the information we would need (he also greeted us each time we passed by the reception desk. Much to our pleasure and surprise, our room consisted of a full bedroom in addition to a comfortable sitting area. The suite was very roomy with plenty of electrical outlets and a full range of amenities. We heard no noise coming from the hallway or other rooms throughout our stay. Even the noise from nearby traffic was minimal. A number of suitable dining options were available within a five minute walk. While the choices available in the included breakfast were not extensive, what we had was more than adequate. All in all, an excellent value for the price. Would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Regina.
