Comfortable & Clean. Appropriately priced Walking Distance to all downtown attractions

This is a relatively new hotel located right downtown in Regina. We found the room to be spacious and very clean. A good breakfast in comparison to similar hotels and an adequate fitness room. Everything near downtown is walkable and a run in the park is only 6 blocks away.

This was a wonderful hotel! Unfortunately the parking is first come first served and it is $9 a day in the lot. On the weekend, there didn't seem to be enough parking for all the guests who needed it. However, Monday was excellent!

I relly like to the cleanliness keep up the good work

We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Interior of the hotel very quiet but noisy outside with nightly snow clearing. Continental breakfast was hot with a good selection. All in all would stay there again... very satisfied.

Stayed a couple of nights for a family get together. Everything was as expected. Newspapers, breakfast provided. In room amenities worked and were clean and well maintained.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. Hotel offered free wireless or broadband internet. Complimentary above average. breakfast was

We liked the fact that this hotel was close to the Mosaic Stadium - we easlity walked to the football game and back. The breakfast buffet was excellent - well stocked and had friendly staff keeping on top of food stocks. Checking out was good. We were a little disappointed the day we wanted to check in at 4 pm and were told the room was not yet available. We had to leave our stuff in our car and get settled in after the football game. So we didn't have the use of our hotel room's washroom to freshen up a bit . Other than that we would like to stay there again.

fantastic sized rooms with microwave, fridge and lots of drawers. excellent newspaper in the morning (the Globe & Mail) and great hot breakfast buffet breakfast. inexperience at front desk tested patience

Walls were thin, could hear next door clear as a bell. I had to put on the TV to not here everything that was said

The location was great, the price was accomodating. Yet the staff were lacking as far as being friendly. The gentleman who was mopping the floors was rudely intent on not letting me use the elevator until his recent mop job was a little more dry because "[*] if I'm doing it again". So I had to wait while I have a cab with the meter running outside. I ended up taking the stairs.

Very clean and nice - the rooms are appointed like a 5-star hotel. Great location if you are going to the casino or the downtown mall. Otherwise, the area is a little dirty.

I've stayed at the Wingate twice while in Regina on business. Downtown location is convenient - about a 10-minute walk to Cornwall Centre, a downtown shopping mall with a good food court (although the mall closes at 6 pm on Mon and Tues). The breakfast at the Wingate needs improvement. I don't think I've ever stayed at any other hotel that offers breakfast that has only margarine, not butter. The breakfast room is occupied primarily by tables that seat four, all of which can be occupied even when the hotel is nowhere near full. The accesible rooms are to be avoided unless you need one. The bathrooms have no bathtubs, only showers with built in benches that can't be moved out of the way. In order to accommodate wheelchairs, the floor of the shower has no lip to contain water. Consequently, you cannot take a shower without leaving at least one large puddle on the floor to be sopped up with the bath mat. Otherwise, it's an adequate hotel.

Friendly staff........quick check-in......registration staff provided great local dining options

close to downtown

The room was quiet and close to the airport but since we left early to catch a flight , we did not receive a newspaper or any sort of breakfast that was supposed to come free with the room. ALso, the website does not mention that you must pay to park. We had 4 people stay in the room ( 2 adults and 2 children) and only received 3 towels and 3 washclothes. So, overall , may not stay at this hotel again.

The Staff was very helpful, I had some items to mail, I asked here the Post office was located, and the young girl there told me that she passed by it everyday on her way home and that she would mail it for me.
