We booked an accessible king suite for 4 nights at the Club House Hotel & Suites. Upon arrival it seamed very nice as it was only about 6 months old. The room was nice and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the room was complete as one would expect however it was nearly impossible to sleep in this room for a number of reasons. The heating system sounded like a freight train passing every 30 minutes or so with a loud compressed air surge at shut off. There was a smoke detector/co2 detector on the ceiling above the bed that had a green light on it that flashed every 11 seconds creating a strobe light effect that could be seen with eyes closed. Normally we sleep very easily under normal conditions. We did not request a different room as this was the only one with a shower only for accessibility and we had figured all rooms had the same systems. The shower water pressure was extremely low which we understand for economic and environmental concerns, but this was extreme as the head was about 4 inches diameter, horizontally mounted and the water could only extend a few inches from it. Literally impossible to get body wet and nearly impossible to rinse. Some of the staff were outstanding and accommodating and some were low life’s and could care less about you and didn’t want to be there. We were visiting Rapid City for Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. We would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone unless the conditions were corrected.

Front staff was great but 2nd day maintenance was not good at all. Didn’t refill tissue box eventhough it was empty and my stuff was put it in the sink after bathroom towel change. Bed was not touched. I don't think, 2nd day maintenance didn't go well.

I feel like the support staff was lacking. The elevator went down during my stay and there was no communication. I was locked out of my room and my keys were deactivated before I could check out. The front desk said I had to ask any maid on my floor to let me in. When i checked with a maid, they said that my keys should always work, regardless of check out time. He told me I still had time to check out as it was at 11am. This is very rude and inconvenient, I have never had this happen during any of my stays and was disheartened by the cruel indifferent response to my things being locked away in my room.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and large. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were comfortable as well. The smoke alarm kept flashing and was annoying. The walk out room was great.
