The price was a bit high for what you get. No in room coffee maker or microwave ( they are available in the front lobby) nice enough, decent bed and pillows, breakfast was nice. Decent place a bit to expensive for what you are getting.

Drug pen in room

There was an illegal marijuana pen and the staff was extremely rude and didn't do anything to rectify the situation. I called and called with no help from the hotel or manager

Nice for the price, decent amenities (pool and fitness center), clean, comfortable. Breakfast was decent (continental with eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy), coffee was nice and strong. Close to Black Hills. Check in was a little slow and had to call and wait for someone but we were treated well.

I got there and it took forever for someone to show up to check me in. No one was ever at the front desk. You had to dial 0 to call for someone. The second night the AC would not work at all until about 9am the next morning. A drunk homeless person was loitering around the facility day and night and helped himself to breakfast. Power flickered Saturday morning while I was getting ready. All the restaurants and businesses at the hotel were not operational. Had to walk to the gas station to get food. The phone in the room did not even work. I left a day early to get home.

The Baymont is as expected for the price point. It’s an inexpensive room and that what you get. All the staff I met was friendly. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. Most of our room was adequately cleaned. I’m pretty sure the carpet was not vacuumed as there were pieces of chips laying around. The bed linens, towels and bath were clean. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation as we still had to dig around the room to find outlets for our electronics. Over all if you are looking for a no frills place to stay for the night, the Baymont will meet your needs.

The room was dirty! The one chair in the room was so dirty that I didn’t want to put anything on it…let alone to sit in it! The floors were dirty! There was no conditioner. One breakfast they had no warm/hot food and no plates. I asked for my room to be cleaned and no one came to clean it! Overall…disappointed for the price.

The room and the breakfast was excellent, the check in staff was kind of iffy though. I couldn’t really understand his accent until he repeated his words and he was also giving me attitude when I asked him to verify what he said. Other than that it was a great stay.

The staff here is amazing to work with. I did have a small issue with my room, but gave them 5-stars anyway because they immediately jumped on it. They are awesome and truly care about their guests having a good experience
