False Accusation and Security Involvement.
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Unprofessional Staff
We stayed at Hôtel Plaza Québec on November 8, 2025, with three adults and one 8-year-old, celebrating my son’s 34th birthday and checking the venue for a potential Christmas party. From the start, our experience was frustrating.
Our Meals to about 90 minutes to arrive, despite numerous discussions with the staff from our group.
After our meals finally arrived, we waited another 15 minutes for the bill.
When the bill did not arrive, we assumed it was charged to our room, the number to which I gave numerous times.
We changed seats to better see the band playing -still sitting in the General Room we ate, just a better view of the band.
The Maitre D arrived with security and accused me of skipping out on the bill.
I was humiliated in front of my family, and 8 year old daughter.
Other guests noticed, and came to see us afterwards, saying the staff were out of line and unprofessional.
This should never have happened.
I emailed them twice, and left a telephone message, but have not heard back from them.
What should have been a joyful birthday celebration and venue visit turned into a false accusation and a long, stressful ordeal.
