Loved the location of this hotel. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do! Walking distance to Old Quebec, to a great selection of restaurants for every taste. We just enjoyed it here!

good location. 20 mins walk to old Quebec~ so many restaurants/pubs around hotel<~

The hotel was OK, but not great. Location is really nice. Close to lots of great things to eat and you can walk to the old city if you don't mind a bit of a hike. There was no glaring single thing wrong, just many little things. The sheets were stained on the bed when we checked in. There were not free rollaway beds, as listed in the description. We were never left enough towels and had to call for them or just get them from the pool. The decor is a bit tired, nothing horrible, but dated. The elevator for some reason does not operate under normal elevator rules. It would go up when you thought it was going down, etc. Overall, meh is all I can say.

Very pleasant and accommodating staff-kindly communicated in English with me. Clean and comfortable room. Pool and workout room nice bonus.

Hotel was nice and clean, and restaurant has a good foods and reasonable price! Great location has a lot of restaurant and café near by.

The hotel was a reasonable option for us for 1 night in Quebec City. The price was reasonable and the staff were very courteous and helpful. At the time of our stay, August 2015, there was a construction project for a new building progressing across the street. I would recommend before booking to check with hotel staff to see if there would be any anticipated inconvenience to guests for the time of their booking.

The hotel is in a revitalized area of Quebec with a lot of coffee shops, bakeries and Mom and Pop restaurants. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful with suggestions where to go.

the hotel is good, i liked the staff everything hospitality

It was almost good. There is the hotel in downtown so we could travel well but The room is small.

It was a very pleasant stay at the Best Western - the staff was very helpful. It is close to St. Joseph Street which is very convenient for late night dining and early morning trips to the bakery (we recommend Croquembouche) for some fresh croissants! It is however, a little bit of an uphill trek to St. Jean and the Old Town.

I really liked the hotel, the room was fairly large and clean. The area is pretty cool, there are some great pubs and bars close. If you like craft beer, there are two great places in 10min walking distance.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We liked the in-house cafe, especially the breakfast buffet. Everything else was fine for its 3 star level. It was 20 minute walk from old quebec.

The hotel is much nicer than most Best western hotel in the states. It's in a downtown area, 15 mins uphill walk to the old town area. But there are bus 801 to to there.

Clean, efficient and well located. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Everything was clean, pleasant & helpful staff, delicious food in the restaurant. This was our second stay & will return again.

Good value for a hotel at this location in Quebec City. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was roomy, clean and new. The carpet in the room was stained and didn't look very good. The restaurant downstairs was excellent - good food and friendly staff.

We arrived at 1 a.m. after a long day of flying. The staff took care of us and got us into a great room quickly. The bed -- just wonderful! The rest of the accommodations and the breakfast we tip top.

We stayed for one night, prior to joining a cruise ship. The hotel was out of the main tourist area but the cost was lower. The room was vey nice. The hotel restaurant was very good. We like staying at Best Western Hotels as we can depend on the quality.

This hotel is very clean and nice, good restaurant and good coffee shop in the hotel.

Good location to visit Quebec. Not that far from the old city, but easy to get to by car.

Dear Miss, We are grateful that you reviewed your stay at our hotel near Old Quebec City. On that particular topic, we are situated just a few steps from Old Quebec City, exactly 1.1km away actually from Saint-John’s gate, the main gateway through the fortifications surrounding or overlooking the historical district. From there, all major touristic attractions are within your grasp like the Chateau Frontenac, the Citadel, the battle field park on Plains of Abraham, the parliament and all the other important landmarks, all alongside the cobble stone streets and the 17 century French Architecture. Also famous for its unique fine cuisine, Quebec City offers a huge diversity of eateries that will indeed satisfy every food enthusiasts. Not only the Old Quebec has some of the best restaurants in North America, but our area, Quartier Nouvo Saint-Roch is blossoming with delicious place to eat offering authentic and creative menus concocted by a new generation of chefs. To conclude, I am sorry our employees did not respected our environmental-friendly policy you mention, which I must assume regards the used towels that if not left in the tub should not be picked-up. This policy have been reaffirmed to all concerned staff following your comment and we will make such it is implemented thoroughly at all time. With that said, I would simply like to thank you again for sharing your thoughts on our hotel near Old Quebec City. We hope to have you back among us once again on your future trips to beautiful Quebec City, l’Accent d’Amérique. Best regards!

Dear guest, we are really grateful that you took some of your precious time in order to share your impressions on our hotel within walking distance to Old Quebec City with the entire Orbitz community. To begin, your approximation of the time it takes our visitors to walk up to the historical district of Quebec City is spot on, as we are just 1.1Km away from the main gateway through the fortifications surrounding or overlooking most of the Old Quebec, Saint-John’s gate. So in 20 minutes, you even have time to take a peek at the breathtaking scenery that will unveil to you while climbing up Cap Diamant, the plateau separating the upper and lower part of Quebec. You prefer to avoid strolling uphill, you may take what I love to call the “scenic route” to the touristic area? A path that will first get you through the many restaurants, pubs, themed bars and other entertainment businesses situated on Saint-Joseph street, then past the main Train and Bus station in Quebec, Gare du Palais. You will then come across the Old Port Market where you will be able to grab a huge selection of local product directly from the producers, then continue your way towards the Old Port and the Cruise terminal, right next to the oldest part of Quebec City, Quartier Petit Champlain. If you want to reach the upper part from there, still without the hassle of climbing up there, the Funicular will allow you to do just that by dropping you on Terrace Dufferin where the Famous Chateau Frontenac stands tall and were you can enjoy a striking view of the majestic Saint-Lawrence River. Well then, this pretty sums up what I can add to your review of your stay at our hotel within walking distance to Old Quebec City, so again, thank you for filing it. We hope to see you again on your next visit to beautiful Quebec City, l’Accent d’Amérique. Best regards!

Dear Sam, thank you for sharing your views on your stay at our hotel near Old Quebec City. On behalf of all our employees, I apologize for not having exceeded your expectations. Your comments are sure to help us improve on the performance you thought was lacking. First, I am truly sorry you found stains on the bed sheets upon arrival and I truly hope they were changed promptly after you reported the incident to our front desk agents. Same goes for the towels, which will be brought to your room as soon as you make the request with them. As for the “free rollaway beds”, the Orbitz website states “rollaway/extra beds and free cribs/infants beds”, meaning that the cribs/infant beds are for free, not the rollaway. Nonetheless, I do agree that the formulation is not that clear, and we are in contact with the website’s administration in order to make it clearer in order to avoid such unpleasant surprise to our future visitors. To conclude, I would simply like to thank you again for this review of your stay with us, and I truly hope that you will give us a chance to make amend on this sub-par performance by staying with us again on your next trip to Quebec City. Best regards!
