We had an incident with loud family next door, no manager or security was on site, had to call police. They let 2 adults, 4 kids and a dog stay in small room, not sure how this is legal. Next morning manager was nice, apologized and gave me free breakfast coupons, which is nice of him, but it is not worth 3 hours of my ruined vacation night. That family left, then they were allowed to come back next day. Not sure what happened there. Its a family friendly hotel with thin walls, it should not be acceptable to disturb other guests.

Dear visitor, thank you for commenting on your stay at our family-friendly hotel in Quebec City. First and foremost, we would like to apologize for the situation that unfolded with the room next to you causing some major inconvenience to you and your travelling partners, despite the fact that we evicted them for missing to comply to our rules, even after several warnings from our front office personnel. We did allow them back the next day, under strict rules that they were not to disturb other customers in any way, mainly because they could not find accommodation in Quebec and they were not able to go back home at that moment. So to resume, although we will always welcome family, all must comply to the same rule than all other visitors. To conclude, I would like to mention that, despite manager not being on-site at all times, our front office agents are always available to solve any unpleasant situation, as they did with by expelling the guests that were bothering you. In such circumstances, complete follow-up will be made with our lodging manager the next day and he will then decide on a fair compensation, if required. To this, well we sincerely hope that you will stay at our property again despite this seemingly disturbing experience. Best regards!

Dear customer, thank you so much for this quite positive review of your experience at our well-located hotel in downtown Quebec City. True that, we benefit from an ideal location in THE new trendy area in town, Quartier Nouvo Saint-Roch that also sits just a few steps away from the main touristic area of Old Quebec. Actually, the exact distance between our main entrance and Saint-John’s Gate, the main gateway through the fortifications that overlooks the historic district, is 1.1Km according to Google, which translates into a 15 minute walk up Côte d’Abraham and Avenue Honoré-Mercier. From there, you are within easy reach of the vast majority of the most popular attractions such as the Chateau Frontenac, the Citadel, Battlefield Park on Plains of Abraham, the Observatory, Terrasse Dufferin as well as the many museums and other landmarks. You don’t really fancy walking uphill? Many bus routes have stops just a block away from our property that will bring you right next to that main gateway I mentioned. You may also inquire with our front office personnel about the many guided bus tours available, including many of theme that will come and pick you up straight from our main lobby, as they are definitely the best way to get a first glimpse of the touristic attractions and then decide which ones would deserve further exploring. To conclude, you can always reach-out to our friendly and caring front office agents in any circumstances, whether you want an aspect of our product to be enhance or simply to ask a question. They are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to make sure your stay goes as smoothly as possible so never hesitate to seek their assistance. So then, once again thank you for filing this review of your stay at our well-located hotel in downtown Quebec City, hoping you will be back soon. Best regards!

Dear guest, thank you for commenting on your stay at our quality hotel in downtown Quebec City. As a bearer of the world-wide renown banner Best Western, our primary mission is to offer our guests an industry leading customer service and we are proud that our efforts made for a better experience for you and your travelling partners. Bilingual personnel are ready to intervene in order to solve any issue that may arise during your time with us, whether we bear responsibility for it or not. So whatever prevents you from enjoying your stay at the fullest, please do not hesitate to give them a call from the phone in your room so they can offer you the various solution and apply it on your preferred time frame. They also possess the proper knowledge to efficiently respond to any query you may have regarding the city or the vast region of Quebec. They do represent the best way to optimize your daily planning with maps, complete touristic guides, pamphlets and of course, their own experience not only as a resident of the city but professionals in the touristic industry. This allows them to provide detailed informations about the most famous landmarks, but also those less known to the general public. They can also assist you to find the best way of transportation to reach those sites, with many of them being reachable by foot or city bus. Even better, they can get you booked on a guide tour of the city, most of those available having pick-up straight from our main lobby. But for first-time visitors, I would strongly suggest they book the Hop-on Hop-off tour with one of its twelve stops located just a block away from our main entrance. So with that said, I would simply like to thank you for this review of your stay at our quality hotel in downtown Quebec City, hoping you’ll be back soon! Best regards!

Dear guest, thank you for your comments on your stay at our hotel in downtown Quebec City. To begin, I do apologize on behalf of all my colleagues and myself of course for the situation you describe concerning the fact that the room was not vacuum 2 days in a row during your stay. Every occupied room is to be cleaned thoroughly every day by our personnel, unless otherwise instructed by the occupants, something that can be done whether by reaching-out to our front desk personnel or by filling the form to that effect that you then hang to your door knob before 9:00Am so that housekeeping personnel can pick up before cleaning your room. Both these options allow you to specify what needs to be attended to on a specific day and also by what time you want the cleaning service to be done, assuring you to come back to a room cleaned to your satisfaction every single day. So then, thank you for allowing me to mention this feature of our hotel to the Orbiz users by reporting what you thought was lacking during your stay with us, hoping you will stay with us again on your next trip to beautiful Quebec City, l’Accent d’Amérique. Best regards!

Dear Miss, We are grateful that you reviewed your stay at our hotel near Old Quebec City. On that particular topic, we are situated just a few steps from Old Quebec City, exactly 1.1km away actually from Saint-John’s gate, the main gateway through the fortifications surrounding or overlooking the historical district. From there, all major touristic attractions are within your grasp like the Chateau Frontenac, the Citadel, the battle field park on Plains of Abraham, the parliament and all the other important landmarks, all alongside the cobble stone streets and the 17 century French Architecture. Also famous for its unique fine cuisine, Quebec City offers a huge diversity of eateries that will indeed satisfy every food enthusiasts. Not only the Old Quebec has some of the best restaurants in North America, but our area, Quartier Nouvo Saint-Roch is blossoming with delicious place to eat offering authentic and creative menus concocted by a new generation of chefs. To conclude, I am sorry our employees did not respected our environmental-friendly policy you mention, which I must assume regards the used towels that if not left in the tub should not be picked-up. This policy have been reaffirmed to all concerned staff following your comment and we will make such it is implemented thoroughly at all time. With that said, I would simply like to thank you again for sharing your thoughts on our hotel near Old Quebec City. We hope to have you back among us once again on your future trips to beautiful Quebec City, l’Accent d’Amérique. Best regards!

Dear guest, we are really grateful that you took some of your precious time in order to share your impressions on our hotel within walking distance to Old Quebec City with the entire Orbitz community. To begin, your approximation of the time it takes our visitors to walk up to the historical district of Quebec City is spot on, as we are just 1.1Km away from the main gateway through the fortifications surrounding or overlooking most of the Old Quebec, Saint-John’s gate. So in 20 minutes, you even have time to take a peek at the breathtaking scenery that will unveil to you while climbing up Cap Diamant, the plateau separating the upper and lower part of Quebec. You prefer to avoid strolling uphill, you may take what I love to call the “scenic route” to the touristic area? A path that will first get you through the many restaurants, pubs, themed bars and other entertainment businesses situated on Saint-Joseph street, then past the main Train and Bus station in Quebec, Gare du Palais. You will then come across the Old Port Market where you will be able to grab a huge selection of local product directly from the producers, then continue your way towards the Old Port and the Cruise terminal, right next to the oldest part of Quebec City, Quartier Petit Champlain. If you want to reach the upper part from there, still without the hassle of climbing up there, the Funicular will allow you to do just that by dropping you on Terrace Dufferin where the Famous Chateau Frontenac stands tall and were you can enjoy a striking view of the majestic Saint-Lawrence River. Well then, this pretty sums up what I can add to your review of your stay at our hotel within walking distance to Old Quebec City, so again, thank you for filing it. We hope to see you again on your next visit to beautiful Quebec City, l’Accent d’Amérique. Best regards!
