Room was okay for a short stay

The room was okay and clean Bed was comfortable Bathroom very small, cant even move around in there. Stairs to rooms if you are not on the first floor Location was ok, within walking distance of eveything in old town and near Plains of Abraham and the gate and Parliament os close by.

This was a great place. Very close to both the Chateux Frontenac and the Plains of Abraham. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby in Old Quebec. The only downside that we had was that both my boyfriend and I are tall guys and we had the basement with a private bathroom. The basement is NOT for tall people as their is exposed pipes and air ducts that change the height of the space all throughout, dangerously so

We were four seniors with one or two mobility issues. We were not aware that we would be on the second floor (third storey) of three floor building with no assistance except from the manager (who was very helpful) taking luggage up the stairs.

Location is 10/10. Everything else was mediocre. Bed was hard, amenities were limited. Walls are paper thin, water pressure wasn’t great. Sink didn’t drain properly. I wouldn’t stay again.

The late check-in was easy after we got the entrance code. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the front and side of the hotel. The location was best. The bathroom was tiny but adequate. The only disappointment was the lack of sport channels on the TV…only YouTube after the games.

I give this hotel a "10" for its location in the city. It is a 5 minute walk to the Frontinac Hotel and the Dufferin Terrace. The front desk staff is only there until 6:30pm and there is no elevator as it is a "Historic" hotel so be prepared to carry your own bags up the steps. The internet connection was essentially non-existent and there was no servicing of the room to refill coffee pods, make the bed etc. Definately interested in returning to Quebec City, but will be staying elsewhere.

Girls weekend in Quebec

Excellent location just west of Chateau Frontenac on a lovely park. View of river and boardwalk from the front door. Plains of Abraham just behind hotel. Away from the bustling crowds but within a 2 minute walk to all the action. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom.

Great Location

Excellent location. You can see the Citadel up on the hill and mere steps from the boardwalk. But there is no parking at the hotel. It took us a bit to find sufficient parking.
