I have always enjoyed Fairmont property’s. The Fairmont in Pittsburgh is in a great location. Waking distance to PNC Park, and lots of good restaurants also in walking distance. The Strip District is a very short drive as well. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. There is a nice bar on the second floor and the brunch on the weekend is fantastic.

Everyone was very friendly, we loved our first visit to Pittsburgh. I'm going to give our review 5 stars but the only thing I question was 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed our room wasn't cleaned. Not sure if that's normal because we had slept in and left around noon. But in any case it was a fun time.

I had the river view which was great! Very clean room with comfortable beds. I did try calling the front desk several times on the way in and from my room without getting an answer. My guess is there was an unknown issue with the phones at the time, because I mentioned it to one staff member who was surprised to hear it.

It's NOT the same, ice machine was not working, had to go to another floor, no wine bucket in room, took 45mins to finally get... Oh phones in the room not working, said they'd send some one to look at phones, no one ever came!! Two elevators were broken, would wait 8 to 10 minutes, for it to come and was crowded, stopped on every floor cause the otherd were broken!! For entire stay. Rooms need updated BAD... amenities bad, not enough coffee pods, and they were terrible weak cheap coffee, no cotton balls, q tips ..etc Staff is great, spa nice, but rest of hotel needs help, and when I did complain they all brought up new GM, not doing his job !! They charge big price and NEED to step it up, cause I won't stay there again, till it steps up, like it used to be a high end hotel, not anymore, just their PRICES, not paying top dollar for a medicore hotel anymore 😖
