Secluded Cabin; Mountain Chalet w/ Hot Tub on 5 acre lot
About this space Welcome to your mountain getaway in the foothills of PA! Nestled in the forest next to the French Creek, this lodge sits on a 5.5 acres lot of wooded mountain. You will find yourself immersed into nature with every aspect of this home's design from the outdoor living area with a hot tub, to the great room wall of windows. The space This vacation home is situated on the side of a wooded mountain (more like a foothill but we like to think of it as our mountain!)
The 5.5 acre lot gives plenty of privacy and seclusion!
When entering the house, you enter into the main floor great room. The great room has gorgeous views if the forest during all 4 seasons and most of the rooms have windows looking out into the forest landscape as well. There is a music system along with a TV. One guest commented about this room "It's like sitting in a picture!"
Grab a hot drink, your slippers and head downstairs to the cozy "hangout zone." The downstairs living room has a large 75" TV connected to PS4, Firestick TV, and associated streaming services. Complete with desks for any office work (which you should not be doing on vacation!) and a game room with foosball, dry-erase boards for Pictionary, you won't want to leave!
There are two fully functional kitchens complete with large and small appliances, cooking utensils, cookware, glassware, and silverware. The kitchen is perfect for hosting during the holidays with plenty of elbow room! No more fighting over who gets to decorate the Christmas cookies first! Why two? I don't know, two seemed better than one at the time...
However, the outdoor living area is where its at: The 600sq/ft + deck feels like you are sitting in the trees--jump in the hot tub and then dry off under the outdoor heater and fire place. Just in case you run out of cooking space inside, a fully equipped Weber outdoor kitchen station will grill or smoke your food by itself... almost. There is an outdoor speaker system to all setup and controlled by our Alexa Overlords. Down in the yard is a large firepit for good ol fashion bonfires and smores. The kid's can check out the tree fort but use at your own risk!
But come back inside, let me finish showing you around...
Bedroom 1 is located on the main floor with a king bed and sitting area with a leather couch and recliner. This room is next to Laundry room and Bathroom 1 which boasts his and hers shower heads, heated floor and bidet. (trust me, it's worth it)
Upstairs from the main floor is a loft area with a sofa bed and connected to another full bathroom with freestanding tub, heated floors and glass shower stall. Bedroom 2 is also on this floor with king size bed, along with sitting area in the room. (Sitting rooms in bedrooms is also a thing for us. We find it's helpful to not be near people you don't want to talk to, not that that ever happens when family get's together!! lol, only kidding. mostly.
Bedroom 3 and 4 are on the lower level as well, with another full bathroom across the hall from them.
Not that you will ever want to leave, but if you do, there's lot's to do around! It's only 15m away from Phoenixville PA, home to 10 craft breweries, the Colonial Theater(where "The Blob" film was shot) and the Firebird Festival. TravelMag listed Phoenixville as one of "The Most Charming Towns and Small Cities in Pennsylvania and it sure lives up to that with all the amazing restaurants, brewpubs and small shops.
Near to you: French Creek (Best fly fishing in the state) (1m, you can walk to it) Phoenixville (15m) French Creek State Park (20m) Philly Outlets (20m) Marsh Creek State Park (20m) Schuylkill River Trail(Biking/Kayaking) (20m) Valley Forge National Park (25m) KOP Mall (35m) Philly (1h) Lancaster (45m) Guest access You will have the whole house to yourself with the exception of several closets/utility rooms not available to guests. The garage and under deck storage is also off limits for guests for their safety. Other things to note Number of guests: We list 10 but in if you utilize every spot available, you can get 12-14 with sofas. Bed1(2), Bed2 (2), Bed 3 (Bunkbeds with queen on bottom 3) Bed 4 (2) Pull out sofa on 3rd floor(2), floor mattress in Room 4(1), Air mattress in downstairs living room(2) plus 4 sofas? Up to you, I won't be the one sleeping on an air mattress...
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a patio. There's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Beautiful place, COMFORTABLE BEDS!
David was so accommodating. Any questions we had were answered in record time. Every single bed was comfortable, every room was clean- this was the perfect place for a reunion/birthday gathering for our close family friends. Plus, they brought us brownies! Gorgeous place- would absolutely come back.

Peace and tranquility in the woods
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin in the woods . So thoughtfully presented making it feel like a home from home. We stayed to be near some friends who are getting married and quite frankly we didn’t want to leave . David made us feel so welcome and we will most definitely be back . This place was perfect .

Great retreat location
We stayed to have our staff leadership retreat. It was a great location to meet and plan ahead in a distraction free environment. Lots of space to cook and relax too.
Definitely would come back as a staff or with friends and family.

Nice quiet updated home
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this modern but slightly rustic house. Dave met us at the house and showed us around explaining everything on property. It has everything you could want with a personal touch. We enjoyed the quiet nature of the hill top location. It out in the countryside but still close to anything you would need. We will be back.

Everything you need plus more.
This beautiful and spacious home was located in a serene and woodsy neighborhood. We were in the area for a family wedding. The house was well appointed and had everything you would need. Plus, the owners provided a bottle of wine and s'mores ingredients! They even had self care supplies in case you left the toothbrush behind. The home offered so many indoor and outdoor seating options.... great for large groups and entertaining. We explored the area and found plenty of shops, restaurants and walking trails. It was a great visit.

Cabin With It All
Our stay was absolutely amazing. Our host met us at check-in and gave us a tour through the house and explained how some features worked. There were so many personal, welcoming touches that we were blown away by. The bedrooms were all large and comfortable and the hangout area downstairs was perfect for us and our kids. The outdoor area had an grill, hot tub and fire pit which we took full advantage of. We even had a concern that the propane may run out on the grill and the host came right up with another. Would highly recommend and stay there again in a heartbeat. Plus the cabin was just picture perfect and we took lots of photos to capture our memories there with the beautiful home in the background.
Only warning to parents with young kids. The deck had horizontal rails and would not be ideal for crawling infants or toddlers that are unable to understand staying away. We had no issues with our children that were 3 and up but our 2 year old did struggle.

Exceptional Property with Amazing Attention to Detail
David's home is exceptional. The description is accurate if understated. The home is immaculate and the outdoor space is beautiful. What stood out most about our stay is the overwhelming attention to detail in the space. Easy to understand instructions on all the technology in the home. Two kitchens filled with modern appliances and ample cutlery and flatware, baking sheets and more. An immaculate hot tub and unlimited firewood for a beautiful wood stove and outdoor firepit. On top of that it's clear there's a lot of love with this home with seasonal decorations and placesettings, beautiful touches and products in showers... this place is a high value gem and is a great gather place for friends, family and more!
