Amazing stay!

The house is beautiful! It was perfect! We had plenty of room and the beds were so comfortable. It’s a close walk to the beach and to the other amenities. We would love to stay here again!

Lovely stay in an idyllic place

We had a great stay at sylvia’s cottage- everything was well equipped and comfortable, the kids loved the bunk beds, and we had ample space for grandparents too. We loved using the pool and spa every day as well, it was a wonderful home away from home. Key rental was helpful in getting extras we needed and 30A rentals was easy to work with

Great stay in Rosemary Beach!

This house was perfect for our family of five adults and two kids! Great location and stocked with everything we needed. As other reviewers have noted, this isn’t a true four bedroom (the “bunk room” is just an alcove in a hallway and not closed in), but after long fun days at the beach, the kids slept well! We had a wonderful week and look forward to coming back!

Great Friends Getaway!

Came to Rosemary for a tennis tournament with friends. The house was very comfortable for a big group. The management company was fantastic! They took care of anything within minutes. The location is perfect.

We used the beach cruisers and were able to rent a kids bike near by. We are definitely going to come back. Thank you for such an awesome time!

We especially enjoyed the ping pong table and security of the pool layout with young children. My only complaint is, one week went too quickly. I would also like to mention, the proximity to the beach was awesome! Perfect, clean and nicely furnished. Will definitely be back.

Issues, but great customer service

Clean, exactly as described, great location. However, the pool heater did not work, the AC took an entire day to cool, and the Wifi had to be restarted, but they were quick to try to resolve all the above issues. It IS unfortunate that we had to evacuate due to a hurricane 2 days in and these agreements do not allow for ANY flexibility on rescheduling or compensation.

Family beach trip 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bringing my family to the beach I knew would be challenging with 4 grandkids under 4 but it was amazing. The house was the perfect size for all of us and so close to the beach..which was so helpful. We rented chairs, baby equipment and had groceries waiting for us when we arrived. The weather was perfect as was the beach. We hired a local photographer to capture memories of this magical trip. Will make it an annual trip for sure.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented this property for the great outdoor space and fenced pool, which all provided shaded areas for summer play with young kids. Was disappointed in the condition of the property, which seemed below average standards for Rosemary beach rentals . For example, broken hardware, dingy furniture, molded shower curtain and a pool with many missing tiles. The towels and sheets at least appeared clean. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Great Area

Great location! House was very accommodating. Close to beach and restaurants.Online inaccuracy--This is not a 4 bedroom. The bunk room has a very wide entrance with no door. Made it hard for young children and baby.Had issues with the heater for pool/spa which was reimbursed.Lack of maintenance of outside large patio and pool. These areas were filled with seedlings and debris from overhead trees. We understand, but large areas needed to be blown every other day. Pool filled with seedlings. Filter going all night you would think would skim. Too small for net to pick up.Filtered water and ice was an amenity that lacked. The house needed one but they didn't keep one stocked for this home.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a pretty good stay. Unfortunately a fruit fly issue continued in the kitchen during our stay. The house was clean it could use updating overall. Beds were comfy. Back yard was private but not as well kept the outdoor lightening chords were present and accessible for our young grandkids to grab. Gardens area not as well kept. We had the repair team show up to do a monthly hvac filter change during our stay which we felt was inappropriate during our stay. Could have been done before or after we checked out. Probably would not rent again. Did enjoy the beach access and easy access to the town center

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sylvia's Cottage has excellent potential. We were very pleased with the location of the house related to the beach (2 minute walk) and very close to the shops/restaurants (2-3 minute walk). The layout of the house is also nice for extended family/friend groups as well as kids. The house could use some updates in regards to amenities to make it more upscale and luxury. It was nice to have the pool and hot tub on the property to cool off after the beach sun. No working pool light though for night hours.Kitchen is very well stocked.We did have an issue with some ants in 2 of the rooms (bunk beds and TV room) which was disappointing. The management company promptly responded to our request. Traps were put out and an exterminator came out to spray both the inside and outside of the house. Unfortunately, this did not completely take care of the problem so the exterminator did return to find some water damage on a side of the house which likely lead to the problem. Property management was made aware of this and did respond accordingly. I do appreciate their responsiveness. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would return to the house with the understanding that the above listed issues were completely resolved.

Not clean or well kept.

This property needs a lot of updating and maintenance. We booked it a year ago with the description as a luxury property and all great reviews. We called the management company prior to arrival noting that there were several bad reviews and we would like a manager to inspect the house. We checked in after being reassured everything would be cleaned and maintained. Upon arrivaval, there was water coming out from under the kitchen sink, the ice maker did not function at all, the floors and countertops were not mopped/disinfected. The patio furniture was filthy. The indoor furniture was outdated. The hot tub wasn't working properly. We had to pay daily for heating the hot tub, but were told it could only be heated in the evening. One of our key cards did not work, which is extremely inconveninent. There were NO beach towels, NO bath rugs, NO salt and pepper, nothing to spray the counters off with... and I could go on. 30A Luxury Rentals responded to our calls and concerns daily and very quickly. They brought over bags of ice, replaced the kitchen faucet the first night, brought extra towels to lay on the floor as bath mats. They had to come almost daily to help with the hot tub. Overall, they were very helpful. This property needs a major overhaul or not be rented out.

Unbeatable location, but property could be nicer for the price

Overall our stay was pleasant. Rosemary Beach is lovely and the location of this house is great. That being said, the property is dated, a bit dingy, and the check in process was not hospitable. Also the description of the property is inaccurate. This is a THREE bedroom house. In terms of being dated: the bathrooms were quite small with older fixtures that had a lot of wear. The downstairs bathroom in particular felt like summer camp with an old shower head and cheap shower curtain. The outdoor area was dirty. One of our cars became infested with ants from the carport and we had to spend time cleaning it out. The pool was fine but we had to call to turn on the outdoor spa and then had to pick a time each day for it to turn on so we didn’t have a lot of flexibility in using it. Check in was so frustrating: we received a sort of threatening message to NOT go to the property until we were contacted by management otherwise we might incur an additional fee. Not exactly welcoming. And when 5pm rolled around we finally did go to the property and it was wide open and seemingly had been ready for us for quite some time. We never received notice that it was ready and spent a couple hours killing time that could have been spent at the house/beach/pool. Finally the beach/pool keycards didn’t work. I had to call to have them reset and they continued to malfunction. We hopped over gates half the time. The price of this house needs to be lowered to reflect the quality.
