The room wasn't ready when I arrived after driving 15 hours to get there. The concierge was rude. I was under the impression that I had reserved a smoking room under Expedia.com. I think y'all pulled a switcheroo and I'm not happy. The rest of the staff was very friendly and the view was great. I just expect my room to be ready at check in time and to be talked to with respect and without poor attitude.

They called day of and said they were overbooked and had to change our room. Said it was still ocean view because it had a wrap around balcony. The only time you could see the water was around the balcony, not through a window. It was too cold and windy to stay there at all. Also the balcony door would not stay closed unless latched when you were inside and the heat didn't work. They brought a portable heater. The staff were nice, but I never book a room without an ocean view on the beach. I knew it would be cold. Planned on watching football in the room most of new years day but seeing the ocean out the window. I would have gone somewhere else had I known in time. Also two uncomfortable queens intead of king bed. Stayed many times for years, twice A year. Will not go again unless given some guarantee. I have to pay if cancelled too late, so should the hotel be held to the same standard.

What was good was that we stayed on the beach front but when we got there we seen. Roach and they where willing to changes rooms and the air also went out never got a answer about me getting there late if they will retro the fee they said they couldn't do it but everything else was pleasant

Checked in to a dirty room moved to another room and there was food left in the mini fridge from a previous guest also fridge was not working. not a single towel in the room

We were able to check in super early which i didn't expect from a third party reservation. Pleasantly surprised! Beautiful clean hotel. Good parking.
