Experience the golden age of Palm Springs style at this four-bedroom, mid-century home, enviably located in the highly sought-after enclave of Vista Las Palmas. Designed by Charles DuBois for the Alexander Construction Company in 1960 and thoughtfully remodeled , this home offers an ideal blend of classic style and modern comfort. The landscaping and pool deck were updated in 2022, including a new firepit.

Step inside to find four king bedrooms, bold colors and prints throughout, lofty post-and-beam ceilings, a gas fireplace with a chimney of exposed stone, and a bar where you can mix martinis each evening. Through floor-to-ceiling windows and glass sliding doors is the backyard oasis, which can be accessed from the great room, the dining room, the media room, and the main bedrooms. Enjoy a private swimming pool, as well as spectacular views of the mountains and the lofty palms that surround the house.

Vista Las Palmas is one of the most in-demand neighborhoods of Palm Springs, thanks to its architectural wonders, its gorgeous position at the foot of the mountains, and its close proximity to downtown. Walk or ride your bike half a mile east to reach Palm Canyon Drive, the main strip of Palm Springs that's lined with fantastic restaurants, boutiques, antique stores, casinos, and other forms of nightlife. Go hiking in Tahquitz Canyon three miles south, take a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway six miles west, or tee off at one of the countless world-class golf courses that the area is known for.

We absolutely love this house. The backyard is incredible with amazing views of the mountains. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with great morning walks. But at the same time it is very close to downtown Palm Springs. The house itself is spacious, well stocked, and enough room for us and visiting friends. I would definitely rent this house again! Can’t wait to come back.

A true gem

This is a lovely home in a great neighborhood. The mid-century modern furnishings and details are true to the period but still warm and comfortable. Outside, the grounds are lush and private. We enjoyed it all – the pool. spa, fire pit and grill. And, of course, its a very walkable neighborhood.

Gorgeous Stay

The house is clean, well maintained and fully stocked for all your needs. The pool and outdoor area were amazing. We didn’t realize it would cost additional money and time to heat the pool/pool spa. Probably only needs to happen in the cooler months, but renter beware. We really had a great stay. The area is walkable to downtown or a cheap Uber/Lyft.
