This place is the best. Feels more like an airbnb. Rooms with no windows have high ceilings and a window on the ceiling so the vibe is more like a loft. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Perfect location 1.5 blocks from the 12 St Bart. Parking was $40 and super easy. Lot is across the street.

The woman at guest services was extremely nice and thoroughly showed us the grounds and gave keys. The rooms and spacious and clean but the walls are paper thin. I mean thin! They do provide earplugs. Walking distance to multiple tasty asian restaurants, it is located in Chinatown. Parking is $40. We opted to park on the street and our car was right below and we were fine.

The room was clean and really nice, staff was friendly, and location was central. The only complaint I have is that additional fee for pet was not mentioned online. All we were told is that it’s a pet friendly hotel. So paying $40 additional per night came as a surprise.

This is a cool little hotel in the heart of Oakland. Great atmosphere, and an old re-purposed building with a nice open deck on the top floor. there is no elevator so if you need one this isn't the place for you. Staff were friendly, accommodations were fine, beds are not spectacular and the traffic noise outside was a little loud. But hey, it's Oakland!
