The house was very nice and clean, the view is just amazing, with this breathtaking sunset. My wife and Kids loved everything about our stay at the house. The Owners are very nice and attentive to details.If you are looking to have a great time, this house is the perfect place.

The cottage is absolutely lovely-impeccably clean, comfortable and fitted out with everything you might need. The lake was a perfect temperature and a canoe and kayak are provided to use. We enjoyed the array of family games and the entire relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful Place!

This was such a beautiful cottage on the lake! The host was very accomodating when we wanted to extend our stay one day. It was such a great location with a gorgeous lake side view. We had everything we needed and beds were very comfy! Overall a wonderfulexperience!

Beautiful location, comfortable accommodations

Our kids said the beds were the most comfortable beds they'd ever slept on, with the coziest blankets. The cabin was warm, cozy, and homey. Host was very nice and communication was timely and helpful. Beautiful view on the lake. Close to all amenities, shopping, and grocery stores.

Hidden Gem

Incredible lake views from both indoor and outdoor spaces. The lake is surprisingly quite given the number of homes dotting the shoreline. Nice little beach where our daughter enjoyed playing and discovering. We made wonderful memories there with local family members that stopped in for a visit. Bob and Karen where very gracious, informative, and responsive hosts.

Merrimack Lake House - 2 week Visit August 2024

The lake was very nice, and we enjoyed a two week stay, near our daughter's house. The house is rustic and musty. There were several issues, notably that the hosts do not drink the water because of the nearness of the well to the lake. We also suggest checking the bacteria levels in the lake before swimming; there were active warnings while we were there.

Perfection

The property was exactly as listed and a wonderful family friendly spot. The hosts gave us easy instructions and checkin / checkout was super simple. It was a perfect spot for swimming with my three kids and the items left out for us to use were very generous. We had some great canoes around the lake. Absolutely recommend this place for a family get away.

Family trip

Set back cottage on Baboosic Lake. We arrived and were very excited and happy with the place. Very clean. Provided amenities and clean beach and bath towels. Beds were made and clean. Couch in living room is actually a pull out full or queen bed. Twin bunk rooms are at the beginning of the house and the queen room is in the back which works great for older kids but our young kids wanted to be closer to us so we were glad we discovered the pull out bed. Large open room was great. I also loved the classic vibe of the cottage. Great decks and gazebo. The floating dock is not a part of their property and cannot be used, it is not listed under the amenities but maybe a note should be made in the listing. However, My kids had a blast jumping off the dock. There is a small sandy patch my daughter loved to play in with her buckets and such. The walk out into the water was not bad there are some rocks and moss/weeds so I would suggest water shoes, flip flops or crocs but my kids honestly could of cared less it wasn’t anything crazy but It could of been raked out a little bit for more of a beach/walk out area. Water was beautiful and a great temperature. Looking out at the lake from the dock and the decks was awesome. We caught a ton of fish. We used the canoe and the kayak. There was no water chair or beach chairs like in the picture which we probably wouldn’t of used anyway but just something I noticed. Great spot. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Classic NH Lake Cottage Vibes

This home was wonderful for our group of 6 and a several day visitors with its large common areas and decks. The kayak and canoe were perfect for exploring the lake and our host provided thoughtful touches like a welcome basket of snacks and board games Our hosts were quick to reply to messages sent and were very helpful and clear in their responses.

Great stay on the lake

VERY GRACIOUS

Our stay was wonderful ! Thank you for everything. We hope the house was left okay ? We did find the house a little bit musty. Two of us have asthma and allergies and unfortunately were bothered by it a little. Canobie park was closed due to rain ,( lots of sad faces) but we went bowling instead .

Wonderful lake cottage

First I have to say communication with host amazing.thank you for answering all our questions. Cottage was very clean and nice treats for kids on arrival. Lake was a just right temperature and the water toys they had for us were perfect! We played in the water then grilled and relaxed on upper deck where would could watch the kids swimming. Fabulous cottage!

Lake House Cottage

Stayed over long weekend, beautiful outdoor decks and dock with amazing lake views. Kayaked and swam in lake. New BBQ grill. Had a nice relaxing weekend, would definitely return.

Summer Vaca

We had a nice stay. House had everything we needed with still that rustic feel. Unfortunately due to algae in the lake we weren’t able to use it as much as we had hoped. Only other downfall was the pine trees over the porch because there was sap and pine needles everywhere which then got stuck to our shoes and tracked everywhere. And we were sticky. :) But overall would rent again and had a great family week on the lake, playing games and watching famiky movies at night.
