4/10 Poor

The irony is rich. The room was very nice. It was clearly designed for extended stay. The facilities (what I saw) were well kept.
The first problem was that it took the desk clerk awhile to show up to check me in. There was a sign saying he/she was assisting another customer. But he had food on his mouth when he finally appeared out of the back room.
The fire alarm went off late in the evening. A resident said he smelled something on the second floor, like food burning on a stove (that hasn't been confirmed).
Finally, and the worst thing, someone (or more than one person) started going out and into his/her room at 2 a.m., and didn't ease the door shut. The door slammed shut at least eight times between 2 and 3 a.m.; the sound seemed amplified down the hallway. No one in management came to check on things and see if the person could be quieter. I finally had to take a melatonin to get back to sleep.
The place seemed more like an apartment building than a hotel. Nice facilities, but poorly managed. Maybe they're used to people making noise all night. I won't stay in an Extended Stay hotel again.
