Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel is located just off the interstate at the end of downtown near the M bridge, Pyramid (Bass Pro Shop), Mud Island, and Beale Street Landing. Hotel staff is very friendly and will suggest excellent places to see and eat. Hotel rooms are spacious and come with coffee in room, comfortable bed. Rooms quiet and I heard very little sound from the nearby interstate. If you want o see the river and experience it hotel is a great location, you can walk to the river or take the trolley which runs by the hotel. Awesome views of Memphis and the river from hotel rooms with easy access to all of downtown Memphis.

Great location, friendly staff, nice hotel! Walkable and close to the trolley/bus.

Two days in a row room not made up by housekeeping. Elevators slow room rug had stains. Bell staff was great but tipped him 10.00. So that's why. Resterabt service slow ebony was awful Christine was good even though not her table. Stay anywhere else.

Loved the free bottled water, toiletries, Starbucks coffee & quality tea bags. Lovely, helpful staff.

Poor housekeeping did not clean room and had to request items.

Alot went wrong for me at this hotel but I will say the manager made it right with a food credit. It still does not excuse the lack of ATTENTION to what i asked for from room seevice down to the cleaning staff. Nothing i asked for was done right. I hate posting this beacuse some staff was Amazing!!!! Others need ALOT more traing and hospitality training :(

Staff was nice and room was very nice and comfortable. The only issue I had was that my room was not ready at check-in time and I had to sit around the lobby for an hour and fifteen minutes until it was ready.

Overall the hotel is nice, the staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. For some reason they can't seem to run the breakfast buffet, clean glasses are at a premium if you want juice, and they can't get tables clean in time to accommodate the guests waiting in line. Good luck getting coffee too

The hotel was amazing. Beale street was a convenient walk. The view of the room was amazing and worth the money spent. The housekeeping staff was friendly and attentive. We had one hiccup with the club lounge however, the manager quickly resolved the issue. I would stay at this hotel the next time I come to Memphis.

The hotel is a well run, friendly place every staff member acknowledged us. The room was comfortable and quiet, though I-40 is the nearest neighbor from the room we had. The trolley is not running and we chose not to take the green bus running in its stead, so we walked to Beale Street. There were lots of street people along Main, though none of them was aggressive or actually bothered us rather, it was a surprise. We ate both evening of our stay at Westy's, just north of I-40 on Main they have a good happy hour (4 to 7), and the food was great, especially the wild rice dishes. The hotel is near Poplar, a great street for getting to sights like the Pink Palace, the Memphis Brooks, and other cultural amenities. This was our first stay downtown in Memphis in many years, and it was fine. Valet parking was $22 per night.

Room was clean and comfortable. If we did have a not so good first night thanks to the intoxicated loud people next door, I would have given the hotel a 5. Terry, the waiter at crossroad grill, was absolutely helpful!

The staff was very accommodating and went the extra mile at our every request. We were given a late checkout without a hassle.

Arrive to the hotel and it literally took 45mins just to check in! When I finally got to the counter the agent told me they have the double bed room that I reserved.

We had a great time at this hotel. Very kid friendly and nice people

If you have Uber on your phone, it's about $4 to get to Beale Street. Great value for the money clean, comfortable, friendly staff.

We were most fortunate to have a top-floor room overlooking the city during an amazing blizzard. It was great to be able to stay over while the roads cleared for our return trip home. Gary

We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean and very friendly stuffs. Parking per night was 24 dollars it's very expensive. the hotel is a little bit far from Beale street by walking. We used taxi, it cost 8 dollars. too far for walk and too short for ride.

Good place. Elevators a little slow. For what you pay it should have a complimentary breakfast bar.

Everyone you came in contact with was very personable and gave it their all with a smile.

Chose hotel based on location near court buildings, never having stayed in Memphis before. Was not aware it was attached to convention center. However, staff was very helpful, cheerful and accommodating. Wi-fi worked well- a very important thing for me. Room and facilities clean and working, which is all i need. Parking is interesting. Left car on the street overnight, per staff instructions, with no problem, so it was right out the door. Pretty convenient, though did cause some worry and i dont know what they would do if everyone chose to do that.
