Property appears uncared for. Dirty elevator. At first glance room looked okay - clean bed. Carpet was stained so looked filthy. Strange combination of desks (mismatched and one looked old/worn). Sink in bathroom had separated from counter and was in process of falling down. I’ve had better places to stay for less money.
The room was clean but after I checked in and went to my room I noticed the tv didn't work. It's now 7 hours later and still no tv. I've gone to the front desk 3 times and the manager isn't trying to accommodate me.
OLDER AND MISSING A LOT
The property was better than expected for the price. The staff was very nice. The room was clean but the bathroom shower was old and gross looking.
Pictures look better than the actually rooms. Should be called the "At first glance" hotel. Once known as the Holiday Inn Express (in it's hay day) rooms and exterior seem well-kept until arrival, then it's evident the place is being run on a shoestring (exterior, 1st & 2nd floors seemed recently re-painted, but dirty. 5th floor was like stepping back into 1999 with Emerald green painted walls.) After the a final room change to the 2nd floor (1st floor room was noisy & 5th floor smelled like heavy incense, although it's a no-smoking property) there still were broken drawer handles, no door stops or towels in room after check-in. Water pipe had broken in the hallway and cordoned off. After a 3 night stay, it appeared things were still not fixed as the area was covered with plastic & taped off. Had to unplug Ice Machine in order to sleep peacfully as it was beeping loudly continuously suspect it was probably because the water had been shut-off. On the plus side, beds were comfortable and in great shape. Shower and sink had hot water immediately. Sadly, a lot of homeless people frequent the area and hang around outside. I wasn't expecting much for the price and felt like I got what I paid for. Advice: if you are staying here, just don't book the 1st floor rooms
This is the dirtiest most run-down hotel I've ever seen. The hallway and my room were over 90 degrees and it took over 4 hours to cool down. The shower had mildew, the carpet was so dirty my shoes made black footprints all over the white tile bathroom, and the furniture was chipped and stained. The elevator walls were ripped to shreds, the pool was closed, the staff assigned me a room that was occupied, and there were loud loiterers. It was a nightmare. The only reason I stayed was that I was exhausted from a long drive and the bed had a plastic covering, white clean sheets, and didn't look to have any bedbugs.
I like the location of this motel near the high way, and restaurants, and parking spaces. Breakfast was terrible.
Nice clean room comfortable bed
We arrived 1.5 hours after check in time, our room was not ready. We waited for almost 1 hour for the room. The lobby smelled like weed, it was dirty and several people came to the counter complaining about the cleanliness of their room. Due to that, we decided to stay somewhere else. We tried for a refund, but the hotel declined to let us. They were also showing NEWMAX in the lobby very loud, talking badly of Trans rights, etc. Terrible hotel
can’t complain about the price of 60 bucks but the room smelled like smoke, there was trash near the elevator and no vending. homeless near the front of the lobby
The motel is no smoking but our room smelt like smoke bad , the curtain was broke
The hotel was fairly newly restored or in the process of being restored but not meticulously maintained.
This hotel has been under renovation for months with no progress. It looks like they started and never finished. Pretty sketchy location too. Don’t want to be walking outside the property after dark, or even daylight for that matter. I’ve stayed at this location many times but I won’t be back. Friendly staff though...
Great location, friendly staff and big size rooms. Breakfast is also a full hot one. Very good for the price. Will definitely use it again
Our room didn't have a bath tub, just a shower. I might of missed that when viewing the amenities. I like to soak sometime after a long day of site seeing. Other than that, the staff was awesome. They knew where all the tasty spots where to eat; Places a mile or less from hotel. We'd stay there again.
