We were not impressed when we arrived to the hotel. There was a VERY strong odor in the rooms that triggered my allergies bad. The air conditioner units did not work well at all, which made it difficult for a good night sleep. Half of the light bulbs were burnt out and we had to get one from the front desk to replace in the bathroom..The bathroom counter had toothpaste all dried on by the sink and all over the facet. If you stay here, bring your own pillows because these pillows were SO flat and not comfy at all. The balcony was covered in green moss and spiderwebs. The railing was very loose and sketchy, wasn't very safe. It was very surprising to see the doors going outside never locked and people could come and go. Just did not feel safe with that security measure. There was courtesy from people who smoked right outside the door, because that smoke came right up our room, so it was hard to enjoy being outside on the balcony or having our door open. We had a great trip with family but will find other arrangements for next years Truck Show.

This property was very dirty. The heating/ air conditioning unit was full of lint and dust. I have photos to prove. The sink was completely missing a stopper at the bottom. The bed was not properly plced on the frame or else it was broken. There was a 3-4 inch metal piece sticking out along the side which was easly to stumble over. Attendant at the desk was rude a d only said I should have brought this to her attention when i checked in. After a long drive, being 8 pm. I doubt there was cleaning staff in the hotel anyway.

Completed online check in and was instructed by email that I only needed to pick up my key at front desk. Not true receptionist repeated entire check in process. ID, credit card information, etc… frustrating at best. Room didn’t match what I purchased on Expedia. Expected water view, got parking lot view. Not happy

When booking the room I assumed I was getting a lakefront view from our balcony but instead it was a Lakeview from the side of the hotel I didn't know their was a option and for the price of that room (suite)it totally was not worth it. I mention a strange chemical type smell coming from the room and I was told they just replaced the carpet.
