One of the nicer hotels in mackinaw city, in the top 5. Great views, nice balcony, big room. Good price to room value, which isn’t usually the case around here at other hotels. I would stay again if in the area!

Everything was great except I wish It would have been communicated more clearly that none of the pool facilities would be open as this was intended as a family getaway with my grandchildren. But when life gives you lemons make lemonaid.

Very nice location. Can see both the Mackinac bridge and Mackinac island from the room balconies. Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Only down side of going in winter is the only things open are bar and restaurant. Fudge shops and some of the motels.

We had a water side suite and it was very nice. Refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, coffee maker. Everything you need.

Nice, large suites with balconies overlooking the lake. You can walk to the ferry dock. The hotel was also very quiet.

Bus picked you up and took to ferry and was there to bring you back. Discount tickets. We would stay there again.

Check-in was fast and easy. The people at the front desk were nice. The room was nice and clean. When I booked the room, I picked the cheaper courtyard view, but when we got to the room, the windows were facing the beach. That was a pleasant surprise. I liked the small patio, but I wish it would've opened up directly to the beach. We were on the first floor and it would've been nice to be able to walk right out onto the beach. The beach itself was a bit disappointing. It was covered in goose and seagull feces. It smelled pretty badly, too. We only went to the beach once in our three night stay. The pool was nice. When we weren't out and about exploring Mackinaw and the UP, my kids wanted to be in the pool. The continental breakfast was OK. For the price, I am satisfied with our stay and would recommend it.

Stayed there for 3 nights. The second day breakfast hall had some kind of issue and we were told to have the breakfast in a hotel about a block away. AC broke down the 2nd night and we thought we probably didn't set it up right as we were very to after a day hiking in the UP. The third day we went out again and in the evening after coming back noticed that the room was at 81 degrees. Called the front desk and the lady came over and confirmed that the ac was indeed not working and brought over a fan as they couldn't fix it immediately. During checkout, I let the front desk know about the ac issue and no apologies were offered.the lady said ok and that she will let the maintenance know. a guy walks out to the front desk from inside and instead of apologizing for the inconveniences, says that we shouldn't have waited until the 3rd night to let him know. All I was looking for was for the word sorry from them at the very least and instead was asked to justify why we let them know so late. Poor experience and don't recommend this hotel.

The ground level beach front view was wonderful. The deck was a bonus. We enjoyed the size of the room. With a double and king, we still feel crowded. I would think the court side view is less appealing but the beach is still available even for that side.

Excellent Facilities and Excellent Hotel Staff. Great place to stay and a Great Value.

This hotel is a good value and right on the beach. I stayed alone but had a two room suite with kitchenette. My bed looked right out at the water, the Arnold's Ferry dock and Mackinac Island.

Good location and clean. Had booked a cart view and received beach view instead.

Great location. Nice beach. Many Brocken chairs on beach. Staff from front desk to hosekeeping to breakfast were unfriendly, no smiles , grumpy at times if simple tequests like "is there anywhere I can put these pizza boxes, I didn't want housekeeping to have to deal with them tomorrow?" Answer from front desk guy "only place is across parking lot in dumpster". He said " I guess I can take it there" when I pointed out it was raining and I didn't have shoes on. Breakfast exact same thing every AM. Water stained carpet in lobby.

Internet did not work at all (we were told it doesn't work for Apple products after we checked out). The bathroom had black mold on the walls. The lock was broken on the main door. The cable worked for an hour and then turned off in the middle of a movie. We called three times about it and were told they could do nothing. The phone we tried to use to call wouldn't work, so we had to leave the room to use a different phone. And worst of all--when we explained these things in the morning, the manager was VERY rude and told us to call the main number and threw a magazine with the number at us. Horrible stay.

This hotel was nothing fancy but it was very relaxing! On the beach and really fun to stay!

On our way to Mackinac Island late at night and made a last minute reservation. Arrived late, staff was courteous and we had a nice surprise in the morning to look out our window and see the bay, sunrise was beautiful. Room was large with two separate areas. Would have been ideal for families.

This was a most average hotel that could use an update. The advantage is that the rooms offer 2 bedrooms, fridge, microwave; which is nice or families. The hotel is on the sandy beach, with a nice firepit, but the lake-side area is mucky and overgrown with weeds and grass. The deck area outside of the room overlooking the lake is nice. A beautiful sunrise can be viewed if up early enough. The breakfast buffet was less than ordinary, although the waffle maker was popular. The pool area is sub-standard, thankfully they offer the use of the indoor waterparks of neighboring hotels. Not much to set this hotel apart from the many, many other hotels in town.

lots of space in the room, breakfast was at another hotel due to remodeling but it was very satisfactory. Since it was the last weekend open for the season the process were very reasonable
