The Riviera has cute and cozy rooms that reflect the up north theme and are very clean. The Mackinaw Bridge view was beautiful andthe pool area was well maintained. The lobby was comfortable and the host was very pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend The Riviera.

Room door wouldn’t open or close needed them to try to get it open twice. Stairs unsafe and railing is old and unstable. I was disappointed with the conditions of this hotel. A employee or owner had a mustang he was braking multiple times in front of the building.

A hidden gem. Remarkable and unique motel with the best view in Mackinaw City. Rooms are decorated in charming bear theme and have everything you need. The mini fridge is big and even has a good size freezer to put ice packs in. My only complaint is that the sink doesn’t have any room to put toiletries or my flat iron.

Nice bridge view and right at the park and lighthouse. Walk to downtown and nearby restaurants. The room was clean but very cramped but for one night it was fine. Parking can be tight at times. Nothing to write home about but nothing to get concerned about either.

Old motel but beautiful view of the bridge and the Straits of Mackinac. Hotel is small but right on the beach. Good restaurants nearby and away from downtown shopping. Near the ferry to the island. Chairs on the pool deck were comfortable.

Booking here again next time

First time staying in Mackinaw City, will definitely book the Riviera again. Great view, clean rooms, little small but perfect for a place to sleep. Slept two adults one child for our over night stay. The pool is heated and has a great view of the bridge. Also BC pizza delivers to the room.
