If you want to do nothing but sleep and watch TV, you might enjoy it. Even though they had a restaurant , it was not operating, no amenities at all but a small pool. The place was very clean & the bed was comfortable; however when you requested a handicap room, which we did not get, a bed 3’ off the ground & a tub that was very deep with one very tiny grab bar, it was dicey!

The first room they assigned us had a do not disturb on the door and bed unmade. The 2nd room only able to go to 3rd floor on elevator and walk up stairs for the rest of way. Was not given clear info on ferry and ended up having to pay extra 18.00 to park car and was told they would have picked us up at hotel! As a result we missed the ferry we wanted to go on due to having to go to another lot to park and then being picked up there! Would not recommend this at all. Needs maintenance bathroom tv didn't work and plugs were very suspect and wobbly. Bathroom light wouldn't come on at times. Internet was unstable and kept dropping.

I absolutely loved the view. My room was really nice! The breakfast was wonderful. There was an amazing variety! I had a balcony room so i got to see the sun raise! Very beautiful

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff “upgraded” our room to one that had a jacuzzi. I assume the did this because they gave the room we reserved to someone else. The jacuzzi was useless and a waste of space. The room was dark and otherwise not useful because of the giant jacuzzi.

Front desk is no help.

We booked on Hotels.com and reserved a room on beachfront. When I questioned them why I did not get what I paid extra for they just said we don’t have that kind of room. I said clearly you do. We reserved balcony room. They just kept going in circles with me. Very rude. The upside w Is it’s one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in, in Mackinaw City.
