Initially the stay started well. Check-in went smoothly the amenities were as expected. And then I got bit by a bed bug around 11:30pm. I was able to squish and kept the bug to immediately show hotel staff. I asked the hotel staff for them for assistance with this issue and they stated that the only thing they could do was for me to leave the hotel and they would refund me or inspect the room and get a call from the manager the next day. They refunded my money minus the $150 hold on my debit card that would need to be released

The hotel is clean and nice looking. Staff was great. Breakfast was decent. The downside is the quality of bedding and location. Sheets and pillows are very scratchy and the coverlet texture is awful. The location isn’t great. We felt safe but lots of sirens could be heard late into the night.

We had a 2 day family stay and was very disappointed. We was not informed of the pool being closed prior to check-in and it was closed for our whole stay with no reasoning to why it was closed. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. They also wanted a $150 deposit that we was unaware of until check-in. Not sure if we will return. We used to love this place, but not so much these days.

In part we chose this hotel because the online adds stated there was a bar and restaurant on site when we arrived, we were told no bar or restaurant was operating on site except for breakfast. The next day I found sheets were stained like someone had a medical situation. I requested the sheets be changed to the housekeeper on the floor. She did not do that only made up the bed. I slept on top that night. The next day I went to front desk and explained what has happened. I also asked for a change of sheets again. I returned to hotel at about 9 pm and found that again sheets were not changed. I went to the desk and was told the only thing that could be done is move all our stuff to another room, because no housekeeping staff was on duty. We were too tired to move. Stayed in room for the last time
