The overall stay was awesome! We have stayed here before and will stay any time we are in Louisville- only problem on this trip was that there was no heat in our room and it was freezing cold. Easy fix I’m sure
The property was awesome! A total destination hotel with tons of amenities. No complaints.
There is so much in walking distance and plenty of restaurants and bars in the hotel.
We had 6 people so thought we’d need to get two connected rooms. They were sold out so we went with the 2 queen suite with sleeper sofa. It was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone! And we could safely (and warmly!) walk to and from our concert at the Yum Center on the connected walkway.
One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Top notch staff, service, location, amenities (dining, Starbucks, KFC Yum! Center Skywalk access, direct parking garage access, fast elevators (if you get it you get it, if you don’t you don’t) in the hotel, beautiful design, etc. I will definitely be back and may even book for an event; they handled SEAMLESSLY at least one HUGE and GORGEOUS wedding with guests and two concerts with guests on the same night, no visible/audible issue or chaos (bravo)!

NOTE: City owned parking garage under the Galt House West tower is cheaper than the Galt House's parking garage.
A favorite place to stay. $28 per day for parking feels a bit high, but the room rate wasn't bad and it is a comfortable place with great amenities. Walking distance to lots of eateries and Waterfront Park is adjacent.
Service and condition of property-inside and out-is good, but a few problems. WiFi was very spotty and sometimes seemed non-existent. It's really unfortunate the outdoor pool overlooks the interstate--made for a VERY noisy day, sometimes to the point of not being able to hear the person sitting right next to me. And an unheated pool? In 2022? Come on.The worst parts were the front desk and parking, though. If you're going to have two towers, then have a front desk in each tower. Also, why on Earth would you let folks use one parking garage with their key card, but for the other, you have to go back to the front desk and get a QR code? Very inconvenient and not really ADA-compliant.
Rooms are nice and large. Convenient location for great food.

Everything was great!
Loved our room and view, balcony needs cleaning. Check in was bumpy, rep was new and he did not explain how or where to park (drove around most entrances were blocked with cones!) had to come back and ask, he also didn’t explain how to get to the 19th floor! Different elevators! Use your room card!

We were 4 senior ladies sharing a suite which was spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself was very conveniently located. We valet parked our car which we took in and out many times. Very efficient and agreeable service there. We ate one dinner and breakfast in the west tower, food was decent and reasonably priced. Overall, our 3 night stay wss terrific. The only down side was we could not figure how to control the temperature, the room was chilly, so we turned it off. That being said however, we never asked anyone.
