Amazing staff ... the quality of service was phenomenal

It’s really hard to tell what was the hotels problem verse what the virus has caused. The one thing that I didn’t really care for was the area of the hotel. It backs up to a park that appears to to be on the outside, but take a walk through it and there’s a lot of homelessness & drugs. On the positive rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom was definitely beautiful. I would try again once the whole virus mess is over.

Most everything about this property is great, but they are in the process of remodeling the lobby in one of the towers, which lead to me hiking up three floors of stairs, lugging my luggage, in a creepy parking garage, trying to find my way across to the other lobby to check in. If I had know where specially to park before I arrived, that situation could have been avoided.

At check in Adit was wonderful. We loved our room and view. BJ in the bar was friendly. In the morning we tried the breakfast buffet and all the servers were great.

Part of the property (not near my room) was being refurbished.

Property has great locations and views. Under construction. Doors and windows do nothing to soundproof your room. We had some convention of middle school aged kids. Their doors slamming was as if it was our own door.

Newly renovated and awesome. Great river views. will be back.

The room was nice. Just be aware that parking at this hotel is expensive.

There is major renovation going on that renders the hotel less than desirable at this time.

Our room was clean & nice but surprisingly no mini fridge, the staff was friendly minus the one concierge we asked about checking out and could smell alcohol on his breath and was rather stern. Construction not really a problem over the weekend, however leaving on Mon. we walked through the lobby (a construction zone) men in hard hats working in the ceiling. I asked my daughter if we should have hard hats too?? Elevator problems!! Crammed full with bikes and people coming and going from the Ironman event, which meant extremely long wait times, one of them got stuck for a good amount of time, (call the FD stuck) so we left the 17th floor to take the stairs to the 3rd floor to cross over to the other building where our daughter was staying, we got there only to find a dead end, then saw the sign on the 4th floor stairwell door that said to take the 4th floor corridor to the opposite side to get to the third floor. The 4th floor corridor was fully under construction, electric cords across the floor and wires hanging from the ceiling. 1/2 way through we realized that it was probably not safe for us to be walking through there, especially with a toddler in tow, but the only other option would have been to go back up and come down on the other side. It should have been blocked off with no access for guests, but no signs anywhere. Imagine the chaos if there had been a fire!! Barking dogs woke us up Mon. am. Unaware it was a pet friendly hotel. Too pricey for all the commotion!

Bridge bar views were perfect and the fireworks were a nice surprise.

Location was convenient and the bell staff were very accommodating
