Great overnight accommodation and good value for the area. Everything was clean and tidy and the room had all we needed. A great find and one we hope to use again for future visits to London.

Overall it was ok. There was some confusion with our check in time. It said 2pm on the booking and we planned to arrive then but when I contacted the reception the day before they said that wasn't guaranteed. There was no apology and the response felt a bit rude given the booking clearly stated 2pm. The receptionist on arrival wasn't very friendly either. The room was however ready at 2pm. We had booked a regular room and were given a small room in the basement (studio 2). It was very small with the bed in the corner and a wall one side and the kitchen unit not very far at all to the other side of the bed. The bathroom was also right next to the kitchen. It felt very weird sleeping so close to the kitchen. I am surprised this was a regular room as it's hard to imagine how it could possibly have been smaller. Definitely wouldn't want to stay in a little room if that was in fact a regular. It felt a bit grubby too with damp / black marks on the bathroom ceiling. On the second day there was a leak in the bathroom. We reported it and maintenance came very quick. It couldn't be fixed but we were quickly given another room which was much appreciated. I think this must have been a large studio which was much bigger and I wish we'd have booked that size room to start with. The room was a little tired in parts but perfectly comfortable. The location was good and well connected via tube. The staff on check out were friendly and let us leave our bags.

Good value

Very good value. Convenient location close to tube stations. Comfortable and well equipped. Staff friendly. It was surprisingly quiet for London and the tubes didn't have any noise impact. However the fridge was excessively noisy and caused some sleep disturbances.

Nice helpful launderette man nearby since the property’s laundry is very small , dryers don’t work well but seems to be the way in the UK for the small dryers? Nice pub nearby . And 8 minute walk to dining , grocery, shopping and train and bus . Our kitchen was very very small. Has cutesy sayings where a hook or a shelf would be more useful. Staff helpful, brought fan and extra hangers.

Too small for a double!

Cute place but very small. No space to spread out at all. Hate the side of bed against the wall for an elderly couple who has to get up to use the loo in middle of night. Not shown in picture. Kitchenette nice. Glad for only one night. Bed space a definite problem. No AC, but I knew that. Tram or train noise. Otherwise, clean, cute place.

A great place to stay for a concert at the Apollo. Dinner and drinks on the Thames and the venue all within walking distance and also walking distance to station. It was hot while we were staying and no air con(which is fine from an eco perspective). We were able to open the windows but this meant a very noisy night sleep. Otherwise everything that you needed for an overnight stay and the communication and checking in process was really straightforward.

The check-in process was an absolute nightmare. We were standing outside in the pouring rain for 45min and unable to contact their office. The advance check-in is a joke. The room itself has zero ventilation which felt like a sauna and smelled moldy. The property itself is it a rough condition and the walls are so thin, we couldn’t sleep due to the other people fighting & moving around heavy objects all night. It felt very unsafe. Also housekeeping did not give us any towels nor take out the trash. The management did not give us any responses to our concerns during the stay. If you want to have a somewhat decent stay, I’d recommend another place where you can atleast feel safe and aren’t breathing in mold.

Nearly perfect

Clean, pleasant decor, decent space even in the small studio, well equipped kitchenette, comfy bed. I would suggest though to replace the microwave with a smaller one so it fits better on the shelf. The current one must be opened very gently to avoid it falling over. Communication was impeccable, there was a problem with the water temperature and was solved within 24 hours. Check-in was smooth. You do have to go to room 9 but that was in the instructions so no surprises there. Something to consider. Bring an eye mask if you sleep in total darkness, and ear plugs if you are bothered by traffic noise. Also, bear in mind there's no 24 hours reception, only until 9pm.

Hammersmith Grove is a lovely area in Hammersmith and the hotel is very close to transport and amenities. The room was small and the kitchenette had the microwave on a high shelf and some crockery in a high cupboard. For short people you need to stand on a chair to operate the microwave or reach the crockery. The hotel did move the microwave down to bench level for us but then there was no workable bench space left. Overall accommodation is good for London standards and location excellent. It cost us £30 for an Uber to Heathrow. Train links also close by.

Tired rooms and in need of a refurb!

Pretty poor stay sadly. I've stayed at this hotel 4+ times and sadly every stay has gotten progressively worse. Overall condition of the property is deteriorating sadly, with rooms looking quite tired and in need of decorating. They would have been lovely when originally renovated but sadly every room i've stayed in has suffered from damage, mould or just overall tiredness. As many reviews mention- the rooms are ridiculously warm. They do provide fans in rooms but they don't do a lot to reduce the overall temperature, I would NOT stay here over any summer month. Lack of front desk or concierge is a bit of a pain, meaning you have to walk further down the road to get checked in and the signage on the check in area is not very clear so easy to miss. Every time i've stayed they've advised they have sent keycode to the property to my email yet this has not once been received. Its unlikely i'll stay again. Lack of sleep (due to heat) and tired knackered rooms aren't worth the room rate sadly.
