We loved our stay in this hotel The hotel is very clean. The breakfast buffet options is awesome. They have variety. I was gonna give this hotel 10/10 because it’s close to everything. I am only giving this hotel 8/10 because my husband got sick I called the front desk they don’t have a first aid like medications for fever/ cold or cough. If someone will a heart attack here they don’t know what to do; the guest can just die there without any help. They don’t have basic medications. No one can also help for CPR. Good thing I’m a registered nurse I can take care of my family.
Also I requested for a taxi to take us around Kyoto the van was comfy and taxis are knowledgeable but the last taxi driver his name is John Lin, he heard us wanting to eat Wagyu. The driver booked us for a dinner reservation. We trusted him since he is a local. We ended up paying $600 for a dinner. The reservation was under the driver’s name. It sounded shady because it was under his name. I splurge with food but I did not expect we would pay that much. So total we spent $950 for a half day tour. People do speak English I understand that. Shady driver after we gave good tips as well. We’ve been eating anywhere in Kyoto and we loved it we were only spending $100 each time.
