This was a welcoming place for our family's first visit to Kyoto. Ben was kind and accomodating, letting us in a little early. The room was clean and comfortable and the area was quiet and there were many places to see within walking distance, and it was close to the hop on, hop off bus.

We loved our stay at Ben's Guesthouse Kyoto while visiting my son who is studying abroad at Doshisha University for the year. The check-in and check-out process was communicated very clearly, the room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, the beds and linens were very comfortable, and the area of the city was very quiet.
