Booked the property due to it having pool facilities, only to turn up and find out the pool was closed. Damage to room evident upon arrival, missing handles on furniture, cracks and sealant missing in the bathroom and toilet continuously flushing. Room was booked to make use of the pull out bed, which no linen was provided, despite number of bodies occupying the room being confirmed online. During the breakfast, staff handling the food had no food service PPE on i.e. no gloves, no hair nets. Pieces of equipment in the dining room not functional, including pancake maker and juice machine with no signs indicating they were out of order. Issues with key cards not working which could have been a major safety issue, quickly rectified by reception staff. Other than the complaints listed above, the reception staff were the small beacon of light that made the hotel welcoming.
