Notre-Dame Island Vacation Packages

We rented the suite room 502 to be exact on the 23rd of August 2026 for a honeymoon. After we left we seen a charge on our credit card for $500. When we call and ask they said they charged us for water damage in the bathroom because water leaked downstairs. First of all, I don't know why we being charged for a cracked foundation let me tell you we called the staff right away for clean up and they have that on fil below is e . But still claim that they couldn't use the room for 3 days afterwards. How is that our responsibility if their toilet is not sealed properly or wherever the water leak through was not sealed properly? Do we look like we work in construction or renovation? And by the way the toilet and everything looked renovated so I don't know what this $500 is for but I'm waiting for my refund on Tuesday when I speak to the the director Annie. They did not even have the respect to call? Send an email to say we are charging your account for such and such amount. Because of this it was a surprise when I went to go check the details and see what was my balance online. The security deposit was refunded plus we was charged an extra $500 again for some restaurant which was refunded a mistake on their behalf. This is what the clerk had told me on the phone and then he had at least the respect to call me back and told me that this $500 was not for the restaurant that they mistakenly charged me for but was for water damage I had a good time there but this dipping in my credit

Overall, our stay was good. Check in was easy. Our experience fell short of excellent due to a few easily remedied issues. On the positive side the room was very large and well decorated, and the balcony was great, with a nice view. However, there was no face soap nor body lotion provided. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast; it was low end, discount hotel-quality with cold potatoes, flat, terrible pancakes and not much for plant-based needs. The coffee was great. Parking was around the corner and at a very reasonable price. This hotel would be impossible for mobility-impaired individuals; there are stairs to get into the hotel and stairs to get into the dining room/hotel room section. I’d stay there again and hope my observations might lead to a few changes for a better experience.

Little loud/echo when people entered or left appts. And could occasionally hear upstairs footsteps. Small price to pay for the location. Could not hear the street noise from Place St Jaques in our appt. even though we overlooked it. You litterally step out of your front door and into the action of old Montreal. Subway station is a short walk away and you can be in the heart of the retail and business districts 20 min outside your front door as well. Would absolutely stay again.overall 8.5/10. Will stay at LIT units again.

The only the hotel that let me enjoy the nightlife of Montreal without needing to drive back late in the night or pay a lot for uber because of its proximity to the strip
