Love the place, only reason for not giving 5 stars was the parking. It’s a really tight parking lot so you need to have good driving skills and a small car. Overall, I would not hesitate coming back here!

The balcony is super small so it’s really useless. And the gap under the room door is huge, so you can hear the sound from the hallway easily. People can also hear you talk if they walk by your room. So I hope that will be improve. Otherwise the location is pretty good, close to all the shops and the beach. And the parking was ok, it is tight and small, we rented a SUV. It wasn’t as bad as most reviews. Just make sure you drive slowly, you shouldn’t have any problem.

I loved my stay at Waikiki Malia! The hotel is beautiful, clean and updated. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. I got free water and a bag! Their water machine is TOP NOTCH! Not the old smelly ones other hotels have! The AC works great, the pool area is well kept, the location is so convenient! Everything is within walking distance. The island tour and snorkeling bus picked us up about a block away in front of the shopping center. So much local and small business eats to enjoy. Many restaurants, food stands, food trucks, ABC stores, etc. Overall, the best stay I’ve had in Hawaii. The city view was beautiful! I usually have a beach view, but I noticed the city placement is much more quiet all day and night! Random, but I loved the lotion they provided! I have very sensitive skin and I think it has real lavender and nice ingredients. Whenever I used it, my skin rashes cleared up. I left with no sunburn for the 1st time, and I was barely wearing any clothes. Didn’t even use my aloe vera. I got scraped up snorkeling and falling outside running in my slippers on the wet floor (my fault, San Franciscans speed walk everywhere for no reason) and the lotion worked like a charm. No scars. I used the whole bottle. Tip: the hotel does not have type-c outlets. Bring your charger with the usb on 1 side, &/or the outlet base. I forgot my base at home and it’s my 1st time having a double sided type-c charger. I went to Ross 1-2 blocks away though and it was only $4.99.

The hotel was clean and safe and the room was reasonably nice. I didn't care for the daily resort fee, the 40.00 per day parking fee, the restictive hours on the hot tub, everything about the parking garage, and the peculiar smell in the hallway (although it didn't travel into the room.. maybe a cleaning product?).

The location of this hotel stay is convenient to Waikiki Beach, food spots, shopping, etc. Rooms are pleasant and clean. The staff is super kind and helpful; the auntie at concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable. The parking garage could use a huge upgrade but is very conveniently placed for the hotel on Kuhio St.

Great location near Waikiki Beach and International Marketplace. The parking garage was really tight with a one lane ramp for entering and exiting traffic. One of the elevators was also down so I had to use two sets of elevators to get to my room. The hotel room was spacious and looked updated but the bathroom was cramped and grimy.
