The service is great at this hotel. Everything in Honolulu is expensive so be ready. Waikiki is ok but not thrilled, pretty crowded and not relaxing. Hotel is a few blocks from beach but located near a canal for nice relaxing walks.

In simple words hotel is ok and easy walk to beach and restaurants. I paid expedia for my bfst and upon check-in front desk staff told me my bfst is included. Next morning i found out by restaurant staff that we will be getting credit $15 for each person and anything above $15 will come out of our pocket. Wait what :/ hotel does not have buffet system, you got to order it from menu and bfst is below average. I did not expect this from Hilton chain. Anyhow i had 3 bfst at the property and a night before my check-out i went to front desk to settle my bill. While checking the bill i noticed i was still being charge for the 3 bfst and i insisted this should be corrected since my bfst is included and as per the hotel im getting $30 credit for 2 person for each bfst. To cut the story short front desk staff was nice enough to amend it for me. I requested that i should be given a bfst box for i and my wife since we not gona have bfst the next morning cos we are checking out 3am. The front desk staff said they gona check with manager if this request can be granted or if he can grant me credit for 2 bfst im not gona have as my stay was 5 nights. Anyhow he denied my request and i asked the staff to meet the manager personally. handrin or andrian FM came out of office & i politely asked him why wouldn't he make exception to get me bfst boxes next morning for me and my wife. He straight said he wont do it nor he will grant me credit for my bfst. Anyhow folks this guy was hella rude.

This was a an ok place to stay, rooms are small, ocean view is a view of the ocean between other buildings, so not much of a view. For ambiance it’s ok, but there are better places to stay. Not bad but could be better.

We have been Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach regular guests for over a decade, staying with this specific hotel twice yearly. So yes, over 20 visits! The last couple of times we have visited, we have had experiences that we wanted to believe were “one-offs,” but this last visit was unacceptable for the loyalty we have extended. I added notes to the reservation. Although I realize that nothing is guaranteed, I will not discount the lack of loyalty we have given when a simple request cannot be honored. We were placed directly next to the largest elevator when I noted that we had a light sleeper in our party. I’m not even the light sleeper and I was kept awake by it. The elevator had a loud rumble followed by the standard ding once it stopped. It was insane how much noise came through the wall. I pressed for a different room upon check-in and was told nothing was available. However that was NOT TRUE because there were other rooms available for booking when I was checking in. I checked - thanks to today’s technology. Additionally, I tried checking in two hours after check-in was available and had to wait for our room. Valet parking was up to 45 minute wait the last couple of times we’ve visited. Meanwhile there are employees who stand around doing literally nothing and the valet runners are constantly on their phone. Done with being loyal to a hotel who doesn’t understand hospitality and lack of appreciation for returning guests.

Upon check-in staff was warm and welcoming. Appreciate the service provided by Maila. Beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet and the shower has great water pressure. Lots of food options in the area and a quick walk to the beach. Would stay again!
