Quaint, budget friendly hotel with parking right in front of your room entrance. Ideal location with several restaurants just across the street, convenience store and gas station just down the road. Cozy rustic rooms with cable TV, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Very helpful and personable hotel associate. Great for an overnight stop on our trip to Canada!

The hotel fits the small town it sits in - small and quiet itself - but that doesn’t mean it isn’t maintained to the standards of a five-star resort. It’s private, peaceful, and surprisingly convenient for such a remote location, with a few essentials within walking distance. That alone makes it stand out compared to some nearby lodges and campgrounds. The staff - who I assume may have been the owner - was extremely helpful, and check-in/check-out was simple and smooth. The grounds are well kept, and the rooms are equally well maintained. One of the more unique touches of the property is the themed décor in each room; this time around, we stayed in the golf-themed room.
