For an in town hotel at a reasonable price we were pleasantly surprised. The outside was the roughest part it wasn't bad at all. I will be back to this place!

I was pleasantly surprised! Everything in the area was booked and I was reluctant as the motel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was nice, clean, very nice TV, lots of counter space with microwave and nice frig. Great price point and perfect location. Nice staff. We'd definitely stay there again.

My husband and I have stayed here before. All was well. New owner. I spoke to him about the sheets not having been changed, hair on them as well as pillow cases. He was there 24/7 and when his housekeeping staff is gone, he does all the work. I sure hope he does have housekeeping. He made the breakfast too, which ended at 9:30. We got there too late, but he did give me a small plate of it.

Outside, the motel looks disastrous, but inside the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was modest, but good. I would stay here again.

large room, clean, helpful staff, excellent breakfast

Clean and okay for a night stay. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Loud snowmobile people coming in at 4:30 in morning. Accommodations okay for them, business people with regular hours, probably not

Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend to family and friends and look forward to our next visit. Love the view that water and bridge at night are spectacular. Happy I stay with this hotel.

Couldn't find reservation. Thought we'd be sleeping in car. But it worked out. Decent, comfortable place.

First disappointment was finding that the walk in rate was much less than internet rates. The bed was very nice, big tv was nice but alot of scrambled reception. Furniture was old & in poor shape. Noticeable difference in room temperature when heater kicked off. Continental Breakfast consisted of a gallon jug of milk & OJ sitting out, a cereal & Little Debbie like sweets. The proprietors living quarters are obviously on the other side of reception desk door, as the room had a strange odor. Not American managed.

You get what you pay for. It's a nice, small, clean, cheap hotel. Nothing fancy. A little on the "wore out" side. Could use some upgrades but definitely doable. Check in was quick, room was clean.

Do not judge motel by outside appearance. Rooms are completely renovated and everything is new. The owners are friendly and accommodating.
