Several things were outstanding:location, overall appearance of property, beds, TV's, customer, service, and breakfast.

Convenient location. The room was extremely clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The pool was very nasty and using salt water thats gross cheaper hotels had bigger pools not worth the money at all

I stayed here overnight during the latest Winter Storm Xanto. I loved how the new hotel was right off I-75, and was right next door to a Jet's pizza, gas station, Qdoba, etc. The lobby is beautiful. The workout space is really nice. The room was clean, halls were quiet (until some kids ran through with their parents at 8:30 am the next morning), and oh my goodness the bed and pillows were soooo comfortable. I didn't move all night. The water pressure in the shower is amazing, and the temperature of the water was great too. They offer Paul Mitchell toiletries, which I thought was nice. The breakfast was mediocre, but decent enough for being free. At least they had really hot coffee, and bagels. One thing I noticed, specifically in the bathrooms, were some chips in the paint on the ceiling, which I thought was odd for a new hotel. The shower doors (note that there is no tub in the showers, I was hoping to take a bath, but the showers were so nice it didn't matter), were so clean, I ran into one thinking it wasn't there ha. I would really recommend this hotel. I did have to wait a minute or so for staff to check me in and check me out. They need a bell at the front desk to summon them.

Closet hotel with most reasonable rates for annual Mackinac Bridge walk on Labor Day. Hotel seemed new. Staff very accommodating to those who stayed the night and left very early to drive the hour to the bridge. Info at the desk about the walk easily available. Guidance by front desk staff for first time walkers very much appreciated. Hotel made special effort to have breakfast ready at 5 am on that day for walkers leaving early. This was very much appreciated.
