We recently stayed at B&B Florence View, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Florence, with easy access to all the major sights. The room was clean, comfortable, and full of charm, offering the perfect classic Florentine character. What truly made the stay exceptional was the amazing host. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She took her time to share thoughtful recommendations on what to see, the best routes to take, and hidden gems we would have otherwise missed. Her suggestions for food were spot-on too—from traditional dishes to local spots that felt authentic rather than touristy. Thanks to her guidance, we experienced Florence in a much deeper and more enjoyable way. If you’re looking for a warm, personal, and memorable stay in the city, B&B Florence View is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

What can I say? It was the most magical location to stay in in Florence. To be able to sit by the window and be part of the action of the piazza, but not be in the middle of the huddle and bustle, was amazing! Waking up every day to the beautiful Duomo and Baptistera…no words!!! The room was perfect as well. Bedroom away from the noise of the piazza, and sitting room near the action. Clean, with all the amenities you would need. Great shower too 😊The hostess, Giuliana, was wonderful at receiving us, guiding us and hosting us. Perfect stay ❤️

Right in the Duomo square, something going on all the time. Giuliana, the property manager, gave us good dining suggestions and was very accommodation about everything. Safe and fun place to stay.

This was the nicest room we stayed at during our whole trip! Giuliana, the host, was exceptional in every way. She gave us amazing recommendations that made for an unforgettable day of exploration. The room overlooked the Duomo plaza, which is breathtaking. And, when I made a mistake by reserving fewer nights than we needed, Giuliana was able to arrange for us to have the room for another night, which literally saved our trip. I would recommend this location over any other spot in Florence both for the location and the amazing host, Giuliana.

This was a charming place to stay. We had the Cathedral View room and it went above our expectations. Perfect location in the heart of the city, a/c was cold, and it was quiet when windows are closed. Giuliana and Leonardo are amazing hosts! They were so welcoming and helpful. Feels like family! The property is right on the Duomo piazza so very old (1400’s!). The only negative is no elevator but we got our steps! Go easy on the luggage if you stay here. Highly recommend!!

So I was torn on giving this review. The location is superb, right there beside the Baptistry and Duomo; lots of shopping and restaurants mere streets off the piazza. Our room didn’t have a view but was quiet. If we had had a view we would’ve been over an Irish pub, which would’ve been noisy. There are at least two flights of stairs depending on your room, maybe more, but they have a lift for luggage which helps for one flight of stairs. The bathroom was really small but manageable. Our problem was that the air conditioning went out after the first night and unfortunately the temperature in the room was not cool enough for me because I have hot flashes. We reported it and they did a temporary fix which didn’t take. They gave us a small fan to help, and we left the window/doors open when we could (there were pigeons, smells and others with windows open/privacy). It was beyond their (management’s) control but did not make for good sleep for either of us. Guiliana the manager, was very nice and I guess she did what she could. Even though we weren’t offered any compensation for our trouble (lack of good sleep for three nights) I only knocked off one star because it’s unlikely to happen to others and it’s a good location. Also, don’t want to forget there is no breakfast offered here, but that’s most places in Italy.

This property sits on the plaza of the baptistery and the Duomo. It is very centrally located to just about everything, the Uffizi, Pont Vecchio shopping and definitely eating. The staff is incredible and kind.
