We stayed at the Ruby for three nights, we chose it because of the great reviews! Definitely over rated! No fridge in room, trying too hard to have character… too much kitch and clutter lying around but lacks cohesiveness! Very average!

Excellent staff. Clean room with great view. The lounge is elegant and rocks. Received complimentary tickets tickets for martini. Hung out in the wonderful lounge. The neighborhood is fabulous: varieties of East Asian and Middle Eastern restaurants a block away; nearly everything to visit (Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, great pubs( is within a 20 - 30 minutes walk. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

After an AirB & B cancelled our two bedroom condo, we looked around for hotel options for two rooms. This little gem worked out just GREAT! It’s new, clean, great bar, nice breakfast ($20 extra per day), and perfect central location. We were easy walks or uber rides to Temple Bar, Trinity College and many of the tour meetings points for adventures. The rooms are fairly small and a bit spartan, but we were out sightseeing and dining, so it didn’t really matter. The bar was a great spot for a glass of wine or Irish whiskey, along with nice conversations with the friendly staff. The breakfast was great each morning for an extra charge, with unlimited cappuccino’s and lattes. The only negative comments are: 1- The beds are a bit hard and the floor of the glass box shower is a bit slippery. Our too hip 36 year old daughter loved the whimsical decor in the millennial referred spartan room design.

Very cool hotel! The lobby has such a unique vibe. The staff was wonderful. The room was perfect (large by European standards)……walkable to a ton of pubs, shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Dublin.

Had a deluxe room which was very small, not a lot of storage sink in the room, shower visible from all points unless you pull a curtain around, not a problem for me but did overhear an older couple complaining. While our room was small it was very clean, bed was comfortable shampoo & soaps were fragrances I love, bought a bottle to take home. Lobby is full of nooks n crannies to sit and read, relax which is what we did rather than sit in the room. Staff was very friendly. There were many good food options around the corner and walking was easy into the city center.

A total delight - this was my favorite hotel stay in a long time! The rooms are bright, renovated, and make a well-designed, economical use of space. The lobby/living room area, where you can buy drinks, barista coffee, and tasty snacks until 10:30 or 11 in the evening, is a lively, comfortable place to talk, read, or work. The staff is friendly and accommodating (they must have filled my water bottle a couple dozen times during my stay). And it's centrally located just a three minute walk from Ormond Quay in Dublin City Centre. You can't go wrong with this lovely hotel!
