Close to our destination. Clean. Staff was excellent, very helpful with dinner suggestions and directions. We were a bit unhappy with the temperature of the room. It was cool outside and we left the window open all day, closed it before going to sleep because of noise. In the middle of the night it was too warm. No air conditioning system.
Nice hotel based on Kildare side of Red Cow roundabout. Lovely rooms, veer clean hotel. Free parking is great.
Close enough to the city to be convenient yet also a gateway to the beautiful national park. Good shopping and restaurants close by with a pleasing variety to choose from
Check in was quick and easy. The hotel bar was nice, clean and friendly. Live music in the hotel bar on Friday. The room was ready when we arrived and service was overall good. Free WiFi was a plus. Our room was near a busy motorway so there was noise at night.
This hotel is a decent value for the money. It is a bit of the way. The nearest Luaus line is about 25 minutes walk- distance is 1.25 miles. The hotel itself is not pretentious, and it serves well as a good value for the money. Staff was helpful regarding hailing cabs and transit to the airport. I have stayed there multiple times, but I think next time I am in Dublin, I will something closer to the city proper.
It wasn't bad for the money. We needed to find a place to sleep after a late flight in and it served its purpose for a reasonable price.
Great value for money, good food, nice ambience. Room was really quiet as it was beside a motorway with heavy traffic flow and i could not hear a thing unless i opened the window. Bathroom had underfloor heating which was lovely to walk into. Good sized car park with security. Very pleasant experience
Enjoy my stay at the hotel staff were very helpful Room was very good food excellent good transport from the hotel would stay again
Very good value down far from city center i excellent hotel rooms were vary clean good food would like to stay again
Just returned from a 2 night stay at Bewleys Newlands Cross - was a great value stay. Will be back!
A lot of construction going on around the hotel, not their fault, of course. All in all, it was a very nice stay...clean room, friendly staff, and would have been quiet without the construction. I did feel the breakfast was overpriced for what we received...small portions and probably the worst tasting of anywhere so far in Ireland. The tram stop to downtown Dublin was within about a twenty minute walk (unpleasant, again due to the road construction) from the hotel or a five minute drive to the park and ride. This was a real bonus for us as I did not want to drive in downtown.
Rooms are comfortable, large, clean, with excellent showers. They will accommodate a family, which is fantastic value. Not too far from Dublin city centre, although it helps to have a car.. This is a hotel I will stay in again and again.
Located in a perfect area away from the downtown, it is next to a major street so there was a bit of the noise. However we weren't in the room all that often to care. Check in was easy, and accesible at all hours when we arrived at 2 am. Rooms were simply furnished. A bit cold first but with the heater turned on we did just fine. I really enjoy the key card turns on all the lights and electric items in the room, what a great way to conserve energy. Beds were comfortable, Shower was plenty hot. I would suggest maybe a towel warmer though during the colder times. We went downtown the first day, park by the red cow and took the tram into Dublin City Center, about 20-30 minutes not long at all, Friendly people, easy access. We had a rental car and parking was suitable and not difficult. even during peak hours. We really enjoyed the Brasserie, although it is pricey but what you get is worth the price. The Duck L'Orange is perfect. Staff at the restaurant were nice. Front Desk staff were hospitable although at times I thought a bit rushed and brusque in manner. And the hotel is adjacent a grocery store the Aldi and a Fuel Station so if we needed anything it wasnt, but a stones throw away. Thank you We really enjoyed our stay. Its no nonsense simplistic stylings is perfect especially when your siteseeing most of the time and not looking for a posh place.
Overall good experience. Room clean plenty parking
The only issue I had was getting there. GPS could not find it, but eventually got there. Everything else was great!
When I booked this hotel, I was positive it was the Bewleys next to the airport, so when we arrived they informed us our reservations were at New Cross...an hour and half bus ride away. The staff was decent, the room and bed were very comfy, and their bar was handy because there is absolutely no pubs or restaurants nearby. The shower was horrible, the water would shift between extremely hot or freezing cold- no In between. I was stupid and put our iPods in a drawer, and then left them when we checked out. When we called back they had not rented the room again and assured us the staff have returned "diamond rings" before, and yet our iPods were never returned. The hotel looks very nice from the outside, but we had a bit of a bad experience here, just bad luck.
My partner and I booked this room on special to get away for the evening. The room was clean & nice. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. Staff was very accommodating as we wanted to check in early. Will definitely stay here again!
Had a great stay at this hotel,Hotel has everything you need,It done what we needed it to as we went to a concert,Only downside is the tram stop is 20 mins walk.
The hotel was great with awesome dining and coffee bar! The staff was helpful in getting us around in Dublin City Centre and explaining the bus system, getting us change in euros for the bus, and recommending the best sushi place ever, yammamora something near the olympia theatre! great room very comfortable and loved it they had wifi in the room! Other hotels we stayed at in Ireland did not offer it in the room only in the lobby which was annoying.
The staff was positively lovely and the room was very comfortable! Unfortunately, Dublin City Centre is about 45 mins away by bus, which was a bit inconvenient, but it was also nice to get away from the masses of people on St. Pat's Day at the hotel.
