When I lifted my sheets their was crumbs on the bed. The worst thing was the pool and hot tub it was making the kids cough and everybody's eyes burn off how much bleach was in them

We had acweek stay at la Quinta , Gurnee. We were totally disrespected and disappointed about how rude the staff treated us completely discriminated against for no reason jb ever had been explained that we were supposed take an excessive amount of breakfast food and confronted by a staff member... he came yo out table and rudely said i thought " (hotel staff) we informed u already about taking excessive food. We were never confronted and had no prior issues . We explained thatvwe had an extra plate of food to bring back to our room for our other friend /guest . Aldobwe need3d to stay another possible week due to being in limbo due to waiting for our new apartment to be ready to move in and was not yrt so we tried extending our stay , but was not told why their decision was mo we cannot stay. And wete rudely told at 8 am knocking pounding on the door. We were jever informed about any problems or issues regarding out our stay or reasonable explanation for this decision. We had no where to gobin middle of winter with a service dog and cats ! We were poloyrw to all stsff , even never borheref them at all about anything. We caught staff eves dropping at our door land never cleaned our room we needed linnen and bedding . And the one time they c look eaned we did almost allbthe cleanup firctgem prior to the maids coming to clean. Abd nothingvwas even fine except new vedding. We had to walk with all our belongings 10 or so bags vackpacks plus a dog a 2 cats !

Clean and great staff. Breakfast was very good. A lot of people there but staff made sure food didn’t run out. They even had medium and dark roast coffee. We’d definitely stay here again.

The room was ok but a little worn in places, no turn down service was provided. The HVAC controls were not functioning and heat was provided by an older wall unit which for myself was a substantial negative point as it was making obnoxious noises the same goes for the refrigerator. The facility itself is somewhat noisy and highway noise is present in the room (thank goodness for noise reduction ear pods) if you’re a light sleeper. The breakfast was ok but a little too spartan for my taste. Coffee ran out at breakfast somehow. Pleasant staff but I would choose another location for my next trip.
