We were in town for the National NAACP Convention at the Charlotte Convention Center. We were close to the Convention Center. The property was very clean, spacious, nicely decorated. The property exceeded our expections which made our time there very comfortable and inviting. Our trip was excellent and this property was a big part of that. Thank you.

Queens City Weekend

Came to town for a event. Had a great time at our event. Older home with nice charm. No real issues. Host was responsive. Older neighborhood but quiet. Would recommend it.

Football trip

We stayed for 3 days attended a collage football game and the Panthers football game. The house was better than expected. We made most of our meals there and it fit 8 men comfortably. We would use this house again.

Great house, great location!

This is an older property, but very convenient to everything and exactly what our group needed. There were a few minor repair issues that probably ought to be addressed but they didn’t affect our experience. If I could make one suggestion however, that would be that the mattresses in both bedrooms downstairs were in bad shape and very uncomfortable to sleep in. They were lumpy and had “valleys” in them which made it difficult for couples to sleep comfortably in them. The beds upstairs were fine. The house was immaculately clean and we were grateful to have the cofffee and tea provided. We loved the house and would definitely stay there again!

Good

This was my first house rental ever and I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. It is conveniently located as stated in the listing. However, Ashley Road is a very busy street and there is traffic noise even through the evening and night hours. Our family group was eleven people and we were there for four nights. The basement futon was not very comfortable for the family member who used it. We made adjustments to this ourselves but also gave feedback to Maria, the property manager. There are a few kitchen items that should be replaced (baking pans and a can opener/mentioned this to Maria also) but overall we had the items needed for cooking. We had sufficient plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, silverware, etc. as well for our large group. We appreciated the laundry room access and the machines worked well. It would have been nice to have extra hand towels and wash cloths but we managed by washing all the towels/wash cloths once during our stay. Maria was very responsive during our stay when we reached out with questions or concerns. She was able to give us an extra hour to check out, which we very much appreciated.

Sufficient for the needs

The home itself was nice however the location was on a busy street. Downstairs was hard to keep at a comfortable temperature. Living room furniture was not comfortable nor was the mattress downstairs.

Plenty of space

The space in the house was good . The road was very noisy for upstairs. House numbers hard to find and on a busy street. I suggest putting some type of sign or banner in the front yard to make it easy to find. We needed better instructions for using the TVs.

All the amenities and extras you'll need

Maria was wonderful and accommodating. She was going to let us check in early if need be since we were coming down from 6 days without power. Luckily, our power came on the night before scheduled to come down. Once we got there, we noticed the place was stocked with everything we'd need for our stay without needing to but extra toilet parts, laundry detergent, garbage bags, and spices. She thought of everything. If you're looking to go downtown to Charlotte, it's maybe a ten minute drive. Next time we come down, we'll definitely be booking again.
