A great spot

We reviewed this property via the management company. We were pleased with nearly every aspect of our stay, with the sole exception of the hot tub, which was not useable. The owners were thoughtful about what guests might need, though another dresser and a living room chair would be helpful additions. But the neighborhood is lovely, making dog walking especially enjoyable. The yard is a great spot for the dog and has nice human amenities, like the fireplace and a new bbq. Overall, we recommend the home.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: An adorable house made our stay perfect for my family. The rooms were a bit compact for our longterm stay, and unfortunately, we encountered some ant problems in the bedrooms. The company promptly sent pest control to address the issue, but regrettably, it wasn't fully resolved. Despite the occasional ant bites, my family had a delightful time overall.

A Dream Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wish I never had to leave. I loved my stay! My favorite part of every day was opening the front bay windows. The flowers outside the house were beautiful. The tree in the front yard and the height of the house gives a nice feeling of seclusion. The neighbor in the guest house is so sweet and kind. Downtown Carmel is a short walk. The couch is so comfortable! I spent many evenings on it with the gas fireplace on. Also the big shower was amazing. I absolutely loved my stay and strongly recommend it. Also, I could go on and on about how fabulous the Sanctuary Rental employees are. They honestly provided some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Yes, they truly were that friendly, kind, and responsive.

Do not rent

Floors are uneven. You can’t tell but suddenly tripped in the master bedroom several times. My husband fell so hard his gold bracelet went flying and cost $248.00 to be fixed. He actually fell twice another time was going into the kitchen some Windows’s open some don’t. One bedroom has no closet or dresser. The the other bedroom is attached to the laundry room and it has a closet in the laundry room. They have a cardboard box two feet high with three narrow drawers the laundry room also has a unuseable 50 year wash tub first work no headboards. Mattress almost on the floor. Dining room floor slants down then several pieces of wood. One of our dinner guests tripped. Another area to trip is in the kitchen going outside. The only furniture in the living room is Asoka and one end table. The coffee table sits outside of the L shaped soda it is too big. Can’t be used. Everything is very cheap

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I first walked into the house, I was horrified at the empty feeling- NO rugs in any room-Definitely dog friendly!! It turned out to be a good place for me and my yellow lab who was in the middle of shedding season! The living room and kitchen were nice when the sun was out- lots of windows- but most didn’t open!!The bedrooms had NO CLOSETS TO UNPACK INTO, so I lived out of suitcases for 2 mos!-the backyard was oK- never used the hot tub!But Susan at Sanctuary made. me feel welcome!
